Review : Odiva Nail Polish Remover

RATING :- 8.5 OUT OF 10

I got this Odiva Nail Polish Remover 2-3 months back, and have been using this for quite sometime now. So, today i am going to write about this nail polish remover. I have not used nail polish removers from varieties of brands except our very own Lakme nail polish remover. Anyways, i never really used such nail polish remover pads before so hesitated while buying, but i wanted to try it so very much that i finally gave in and purchased.

What Odiva claims about the Odiva Nail Polish Remover? : Wipes away nail polish instantly – no mess, no spills. On a flight, in a classroom, in the bedroom, anytime, anywhere.... Say no to chipped nail polishes. Nourishing, Vitamin E formula is gentle on nails, cuticles and skin. Acetone-free. Lint-free.

How to use : Use one pad and gently rub nail polish from nails.

Ingredients : Water, Methyl Propanediol, Methyl Ethanoate, Sodium Citrate, Denatonium Benzoate, Tocopheryl Acetate.

Odiva Nail Polish Remover comes in a black round box made up on tin. It comes mounted on a blue paper made tray kind of thing. The outer box is also black in color, paper made. It contains 30 pads and costs INR 99. The pads look like normal cotton pads, no smell, milk white in color, and absolutely dry if you touch. But once you start rubbing it on nails, it starts getting oily. The nails get oily and a bit sticky, and you need to wash it off to get rid of the oiliness. Otherwise it does the job of removing nail color perfectly well.

One snag in the product which i faced while using the Odiva Nail Polish Remover is that the pads are so thin, that often 3-4 pads cling to each other and it gets difficult to pull one out. And for the first time, i mistakenly used 3 pads instead of 1 thinking them to be just 1 pad. So yes, this is how a few pads might get wasted. Also if we use dark colors, then it might take more than 1 pad to remove the color completely off the nails. However the packaging is such, that the box can be carried anywhere and we get to remove nail polish fast and easily.

Yes i might buy this Odiva Nail Polish Remover again though the availability of this is an issue. Not found in all stores. And this is more like a local brand it seems. Dont know if this is available in other cities except Kolkata. However i think its available in some online stores.
