I am using the St. Ives Naturally Indulgent Coconut Milk & Orchid Extract Body Lotion for a while now. So, today i thought i should be writing about it. It comes in a large bottle with pump dispenser, the body is white in color, while the top got border in violet color. The packaging is not travel friendly. It costs INR Rs 599 for a pack weighing 621 ml.

I generally use once a day, that too not regularly. I find the fragrance to be a bit rich, which does not necessarily make me feel fresh. However, as it has been claimed by the company, the lotion absorbs in seconds, and gives you non-greasy non-sticky skin. The softness lasts for 24 hours, though i have oily skin on the face and normal to combination skin type for rest of my body parts. However, for dry skinned beauties, reapplication might be needed. St. Ives Naturally Indulgent Coconut Milk & Orchid Extract Body Lotion got an aroma that lasts long. The lotion is a bit thick in consistency and white in color, but blends and absorbs in the skin like magic. I really hate anything greasy or patchy so St. Ives moisturizers and body lotions are right now my 'top finds' in moisturizers due to their non-greasy formulae.

I think there is nothing bad to write about this particular body lotion from St. Ives. Except that the packaging could have been better and travel-friendly. Also the smell sometimes really gets a bit too strong, which may not liked by many. It does the work well, that is of moisturizing the skin. No complaints in that. However, i do personally prefer the St. Ives Daily Hydrating Body Lotion over this St. Ives Naturally Indulgent Coconut Milk & Orchid Extract Body Lotion.

I got another moisturizer St. Ives Daily Hydrating Body Lotion for the winter. This one comes in a pack of 621 ml and costs INR Rs 599. I bought this online. It comes in a plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. And this moisturizer got a very fresh natural scent. I just love it.

This is a very lignt-weight body lotion, and is white in color. Once you apply on the skin it might feel a bit heavy but once you start rubbing it you will notice it getting absorbed like magic. St. Ives Daily Hydrating Body Lotion leaves the skin very soft smooth and hydrated, however you wont feel any stickiness or greasiness. The company claims of ''Visibly improves skin health by defending against dryness'' appears to be true. It has also been mentioned that this moisturizer is fast absorbing and non-greasy to which i completely agree. This is specially suitable for sensitive skin, and that what made me try out this one. However, the packaging is too big and not travel-friendly.

Usually when i buy body lotions, am always skeptcial whether the moisturizer will be really non greasy or not as i cant stand anything greasy on my skin. Initially i had doubts when i bought this too, but as soon as i applied am really pleased. Normal to oily-skinned beauties can definitely go and purchase St. Ives Daily Hydrating Body Lotion. It moisturizes really really well, trust me. This also contains Vitamin E as has been claimed by the company. However dry skinned beauties might have to apply two more coats of the moisturizer to keep their skin hydrated for a prolonged period of time. For me, i have noticed the skin remains soft all throughout the day, and i have oily skin. Okay, so finally i would like to say i would definitely like to try out few more stuffs from St. Ives and may even repurchase this one as i simply love this.

Nivea Frangipani & Oil Shower Gel Review

Nivea Care Shower Frangipani & Oil shower gel is another shower gel which i have been using for the last couple of days. As i have mentioned many times before, i am not at all a fan of shower gels. Anyways, moving on to the review, this product comes in a plastic container, which is transparent in color with flip-open top. The product smells amazing. It contains 250 ml of the product and costs INR Rs 195.

What Nivea claims about the Nivea Frangipani & oil shower gel ? : Let this fresh shower gel with care oil pearls envelop your skin with a silky soft foam, while its invigorating scent of frangipani stimulates your senses. The caring formula pampers your skin, leaving it feeling moisturized. Turn an everyday shower into a moment full of freshness and care.

Moisturized skin feeling even after towel drying.

Ingredients : Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Trisodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylparaben, Methylparaben, Glycerin, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil etc.

Nivea Frangipani & Oil shower gel is quite runny so you need to be cautious while taking out the gel from the bottle. It is kind of green in color with few microbeads in it. You need only a tiny drop of this to cover and wash your entire face. I use this more as my face wash in the morning after i wake up since the smell is really refreshing. It creates a bit of foam too.

Overall, Nivea Frangipani & oil shower gel is quite a nice product, its just that i am not at all into shower gel so not that much excited about this. I have also reviewed the Nivea Waterlily & Oil Shower Gel here ( read here ). But i like this one better since this one smells really awesome.

Review of Jergens Original Scent Moisturizer

I got the Jergens Original Scent Moisturizer awhile back from an online store. It costs around INR Rs 340 for a pack of 369 ml. It comes in a plastic container which is beige white in color and has a flip open cap. It has got a mild fragrance, something similar to the Johnson's Baby lotion. Since i got it online, i really did not know whether its a dry skin moisturizer or for normal skin as nothing specifically was mentioned about it. When i got it, i found out its a dry skin moisturizer. But however, the moisturizer is quite good and so i can still use this despite having an oily skin type.

When i first got it in my hands i was really sad because i thought the Jergens Original Scent Moisturizer would not suit on my skin as its specifically for dry skin. But when i used it, and let me tell you, its very hot and humid over here, the moisturizer absorbed quite fast and my skin did not get sticky or something. However the quantity should be less, so that an oily skinned person like me can spread it all over and it gets all absorbed into the skin quick. I love the smell of the moisturizer. The moisturizer is white in color and a bit creamy when you just squeeze it out of the bottle. I have not yet applied this moisturizer on face, but on body it works fine. And my face is oilier than my body, so dont know how would this work on my face.

A very good moisturizer for oily skin and combination skin. However for oily skin, you need to be extra cautious with the quantity that you are taking. Jergens Original Scent Moisturizer makes the skin soft, however did not notice any radiance or luminosity as claimed by Jergens. I would want to try other varieties of their moisturizers as there are lot many to try.
