Bottega di Lungavita’s Vita Age Prestige Face Serum with Colloidal Platinum Review

Today i am going to review another skincare product from Bottega di Lungavita. Its the Vita Age Prestige Face Serum with Colloidal Platinum. It contains 30 ml of the product and costs INR 2250.

What Bottega di Lungavita claims about the Vita Age Prestige Face Serum with Colloidal Platinum ? : Exclusive face and neck concentrate enriched with Colloidal Platinum created for the deep-down hydration of the driest and stressed skins. Skin regains its freshness, elasticity and softness. Not greasy, its an excellent make-up base for all skin types. With its delicate fragrance and velvety texture it ensures an extremely pleasant sensation.

How to use Vita Age Prestige Face Serum with Colloidal Platinum ? : Apply on face and neck and massage delicately. Partner with VITA-AGE PRESTGE  Face cream and VITA-AGE PRESTIGE Vials Treatment for a softer, moisturizing and more supple skin all day long.

Ingredients : Aqua, Cyclopentasiloxane, Butylene Glycol, Dimethicone, Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Ammonium Dimethyltaurate, Lauroyl Lysine, Isohexadecane, etc.

Now coming to the results or the effects part after using this Vita Age Prestige Face Serum with Colloidal Platinum. Its a white serum with a great fragrance and absorbs very fast on the skin. Hence as mentioned by Bottega di Lungavita, this can be used as a makeup base. Well it moisturises well as mentioned by the company, and thats all. I wont say its an anti-ageing serum nor does the company claim anything about it. However when i bought this online, i got it in the anti-ageing section. But after using it i know it does nothing to take care of the skin except acting as a moisturiser or makeup-base.

Definitely not happy with Vita Age Prestige Face Serum with Colloidal Platinum. If i had to buy a moisturiser i would not be spending 2.2k and buying this. Similarly if i wanted a face primer, i would not be going for this. Dissapointed, yes!

Konad Iloje Flobu BB Cream costs INR Rs 920 for a tube pack of 50 gms. It is supposed to make the skin more youthful and soft, supple and also clears the complexion. I have earlier written about BB creams in one of the posts – Korean Skin Care Practises ( Click to read ). But incase you wanna know whats a BB Cream, let me tell you, its Blemish Balm Cream which is used mainly by women of East and the South-East Asia.

You can get a number of different types of BB creams in cosmetic market today. Some can brighten up the complexion, some are having anti-acne properties, a few can lighten any blemishes or scars. Some BB Creams can be used as makeup primer, or as a foundation also.

However, the cap is not much reliable, and some products might spill out if you are travelling with it! As it gives a dewy finish, i had to set it off with powder, it makes my skin oily and greasy. Konad Iloje Flobu BB Cream is available only in online stores, if you are residing in India, so the availability is a big problem. You can get only one shade of this product, so there is a probability that it wont match your skin tone.

Review : New Fair & Lovely Advanced Multi-vitamin cream

Just as the firangis crave for dusky tanned skin tone, 85% of Indian women are after fair skin! And what if we get fair as well as lovely? It seems like an absurd thing to you, but many women spend tons of money inorder to achieve fairness. While girls who cant afford expensive treatments, go for Fair and Lovely. Yes today i am gonna review New Fair & Lovely Advanced Multi-vitamin cream.

I was always attracted to the fragrance of Fair & Lovely from my school days, and from class VII I started using it. I used the Fair & Lovely Ayurvedic too, it has a superior smell to this one! AAAAH..Now before i start giving more details of the fragrance, let me quickly write about the product.

The female lead of “Vicky Donor” film, Yami Gautam is currently doing the Fair & Lovely advertisement. Why does the company hire already fair skinned beauties is a question! Anyways, i  generally use NEW Fair & Lovely Advanced Multi-Vitamin cream as it gives a non-oily look for atleast an hour. It smells awesome, thats another reason why i use. Also previously i used to apply it as a makeup base, which worked well.

I am not dusky, wheatish i would say. And i have no complaints about my complexion except the acne scars. So i did not use NEW Fair & Lovely Advanced Multi-Vitamin cream to improve my complexion, so cant help you girls about that. You can get it in 4 different packs, 80gm, 50gm, 25gm, and a sachet pack of 9gm. Its priced cheaply, nearly INR Rs 80 for 50 gm.

More or less, its a fun product to use, but if you are seriously thinking of getting fairer, i would suggest you to consult a dermatologist or a specialist. NEW Fair & Lovely Advanced Multi-Vitamin cream is okay for oily skinned, i did not get pimples, but some might be getting, so just test it for yourself. Also as it dries out the skin initially, and is not moisturising, it wont be suitable for dry skinned ladies. And personally i felt the cream catches all dirt and grime if you are outdoors and you have Fair & Lovely on your face! But thats just a personal experience!

Review : MAC Prep + Prime Skin Smoother

I was really thrilled to try out the MAC Prep + Prime Skin Smoother since the “skin smoother” element in the product’s name fascinated me. A skin smoother is supposed to make the appearance of any wrinkles or lines on your skin less. Though I do not have wrinkles or fine lines, definitely due to acne break outs, my skin looks quite dull with open pores (without make-up).

Now we wont be getting a lot of options where we get a primer as well as smoother in 1 product. But MAC claims to be a 2-in-1 product. Going by the internet, Dior has got a similar product like this. But unfortunately I have not tried it.

MAC claims about MAC Prep + Prime Skin Smoother A velvety skin perfecting primer that instantly fills in fine lines and wrinkles. Contains powerful anti-oxidants, evens skintone and mattifies - while softening the skin. Convenient compact makes it perfect for on-the-go moments.

MAC Prep + Prime Skin Smoother is in the form of a compact, so the primer is in the form of a compact basically! The price is US $ 30 for 10g or 0.35 US Oz of the product. The texture is emollient, that’s creamy. The product is neither moisturising nor matte, but its more like greasy and creamy. MAC purposefully did not include an application sponge, since its recommended you use your fingers instead of sponges.

After applying the MAC Prep + Prime Skin Smoother the pores on my skin, looked really less, almost invisible. I do not know about the claims of making the fine lines and wrinkles appear less. The skin looks smooth and flawless. You can use it before applying your foundation or you can apply it afterwards just on the T-Zone or on the oily areas lightly.

MAC Prep + Prime Skin Smoother really perfects and beautifies one’s skin, as said very truly by senior artist of MAC, Luc Bouchard – “real life photoshop”. Only thing, if it could be matte instead of being creamy, it would have been the best.
