Lóreal Paris Liner Magique REVIEW

RATING :- 8 OUT OF 10

I have been using the Lóreal Paris Liner Magique for 2 weeks now and today i thought of writing about it. So this is basically a black liquid eyeliner from Lóreal. It comes in a small bottle made up of plastic, black in color. It costs INR Rs 399 for a pack of 3 g.

What Lóreal claims about the Lóreal Paris Liner Magique ? : Discover Liner Magique, our latest felt-tip liquid liner for intensely defined eyes.

Intense Black : 100%  black pigments for an intense black line in just 1 stroke.

Precise Lines : Non-drip, quick dry liner with precise applicator for easy-to-draw lines.

For Magical Eyes : Draw a precise line on the upper eyelid with Liner Magique. Complete your magical look with Kajal Magique on the waterline.

Smudge-proof. Waterproof. Non Transfer.

Opthalmologically tested. Suitable for contact lens wearers.

Do not use along waterline. Keep out of reach of children.

Talking about the eyeliner, it takes around a minute to dry entirely and once it dries you can get a semi-glossy kind of look. Its not entirely matte black. Its more on the glossy side. The felt-tip brush is not upto the mark, its kind of flexible which is really problematic for people who got shaky hands. Lóreal Paris Liner Magique is smudge-proof as has been claimed by the company and it is waterproof too. But then any usual makeup remover will remove the lines easily without putting in much effort. The packaging is neat and travel-friendly, i never saw any spillage, so you can just carry it around in your makeup bag. The intensity of black is not bad, the pigmentation is fine. Also one single stroke is usually more than enough to line up the upper eyelid, however just to fill up any gaps in between i go over the line once again. The liner glides on smoothly.

Swatch of Lóreal Paris Liner Magique
I would have to say, coming from a company like Lóreal, this eyeliner is very affordable indeed. The quality is also nice, and worth trying. Only grievance that i have against this Lóreal Paris Liner Magique is the felt-tip liner brush which could have been sturdy. Other than that, i must say this eyeliner is quite a good purchase, though i will not buy same eyeliner again, but then you can always go ahead and try this out if you are on a budget and still would like to try something nice.

Lóreal Paris Kajal Magique REVIEW

RATING :- 6 OUT OF 10

I have been using the Lóreal Paris Kajal Magique Eye Pencil for quite sometime now. It costs INR Rs 245. It is a retractable pencil eyeliner in black shade. The body is plastic made and black in color with a hint of pink on the lower end of the cap and the name written in pink on the body of the pencil. Overall it got a very appealing look.

What L'oreal claims about the Lóreal Paris Kajal Magique ? :
Supreme Black
A new generation formula! Powdered with mineral pigments for deep intense colour.
Extraordinary Care
Kajal Magique is formulated with care ingredients and gives a soothing feeling. Enriched with Vitamin E, Cocoa Butter, Olive Oil Esters and Vitamin C derivative.
Magical Result - Eyeliner & Kajal!
To use, draw a precise stroke along your waterline. And a bold stroke on the upper lid to complete the look.

Smudge proof upto 12 H.
Non Transfer. Waterproof.
Opthalmologically tested. Suitable for contact lens wearers.

How to use ? : Can be used as a Kajal on the lower lash line. Can be used as liner on the upper eye lid. Can smudge a little to give smokey effect.

Now, i have tested this eye pencil and it seems the smudge proof and non transferable and waterproof claims are true. However the pencil does not stay smudge proof for 12 hours, but perhaps till 4 to 5 hours. Lóreal Paris Kajal Magique got main competitors in the market like Lakme Eyeconic Pencil and Maybelline Colossal Kajal. I simply love the Lakme Eyeconic Eye Pencil over the other two, however this post is not about it, but about this L'oreal Kajal Eye Pencil. Though the company claims that the Kajal is supreme black in color, but i find the black to be not that prominent or bold, Lakme is better in this case. You need to swipe the eye pencil at least 2 to 3 times to get the black color properly and still it is not that supremely black as it claims to be. Now, L'oreal got another new product L'oreal Kajal Magique Bold, which might help in this area.

Even though the Kajal wont go off even if you apply water on your eyes but then with just eye makeup remover this goes off easily. The pencil is soft on the skin, but then you need to swipe the pencil a number of times to get it properly on the eyelids. Also the L'oreal Kajal Magique is not that great for waterline as it goes off and becomes smudgy and hazy in just one hour or so. However on the upper eye lid, this stays intact, so if you are looking to get smokey eye look, this wont work on the upper lid.

Overall i am not very impressed with the L'oreal Kajal Magique and have found many better alternatives at similar price and even lower than this. I would not repurchase this anytime soon, but would like to try the BOLD version of this.

L'oreal Paris Super Liner Instant Impact Felt Liner Review

Image courtesy : L'oreal Paris Cosmetics
RATING – 8 OUT OF 10
Loreal Paris Super Liner Instant Impact Felt Liner is a felt-tip eyeliner. It’s the best friend of those girls who have got shaky hands, and never gets the liner perfectly on her eyelids. I love felt-tip liners since I generally keep hurrying while going out, and do not want to mess up with the make-up.
Loreal Paris Super Liner Instant Impact Felt Liner is one of the finest felt tip liners I have used. It costs INR Rs 695. It glides on smoothly, and a single swipe of it over the eyelids are enough to draw a bold black line. Its pointed tip helps in controlling the application of the eyeliner – you can draw the liner in thick or thin way as you want. If you are fond of winged cat eyeliners, go ahead and make it with your Loreal Paris Super Liner Instant Impact Felt Liner since the application is very precise and easy.
The color pay-off is amazing, as I said one swipe of the eyeliner is enough to add depth to your eyes. Its not glossy but has got a lovely sheen added to it. But I do like to point at a few negative points which Loreal Paris Super Liner Instant Impact Felt Liner does have – it smudges and becomes messy, not waterproof, fades after a few hours.
Definitely you can give Loreal Paris Super Liner Instant Impact Felt Liner a try. But for me, I would love to try other felt-tip liners as well since I am still in search of the “perfect” eyeliner for my eyes.
