Avon Advance Techniques Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo REVIEW

RATING :- 7 OUT OF 10

I have been using the Avon Advance Techniques Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo for about 3 weeks now. It contains about 200 ml of the product and costs INR Rs 299. I bought this Avon shampoo online. The product got an amazing scent with a bit of minty or camphor odor in it as it has peppermint oil in it.

What Avon claims about the Avon Advance Techniques Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo ? : This gentle conditioning shampoo contains Keratin, a key component of hair, leaving it feeling soft, smooth and silky. When used with Advance Techniques Anti-Hair Fall conditioner, it reduces hair breakage that can occur with daily brushing and styling as well as helps to prevent future damage.

How to use ? : Wet hair and lather. Rinse, repeat if necessary. Follow with Advanced Techniques Anti-Hair Fall Conditioner.

Ingredients : Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocomide Mea, Acrylates Copolymer, Dimethicone, Parfum, Citric Acid, Keratin, Disodium Edta, Peppermint Oil etc.

Avon Advance Techniques Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo comes in a gray plastic bottle with a black cap. Its a flip-open cap. The product inside is white in color and kind of runny in consistency. It lathers up quickly so thats one good thing. And completely cleans up the hair, thoroughly. I usually wash my hair twice a week or thrice if i am using this shampoo, the hair remains quite smooth and soft for long. I did not get the same conditioner as has been instructed by the company, however i do use my normal conditioner alongwith the shampoo.

Though the softness, smoothness of hair claims seem to be true, the anti-hair fall claim is definitely not true. It is not helping in anyway to reduce hair fall so if you are buying the Avon Advance Techniques Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo just because of hairfall, you may be hugely disappointed. However, opinions might change if the conditioner is also used alongwith the shampoo. For now, i would just put this right here that i am not at all a fan of this shampoo when it comes to hair fall control. But for the softness of the hair and since it cleans the hair very well, i am going to rate this good. So definitely, one can try this out if hairfall is not the issue you are thinking of getting resolved with this. I might repeat this one sometime in future as i quite like the product minus the anti-hair fall shampoo claims.

Biotique Vitalizing Serum For Falling Hair Review

RATING : 6 OUT OF 10

I have been using the Biotique Bio Mountain Ebony Vitalizing Serum for Falling hair for a few months now. It comes in a 120 ml pack and costs INR Rs 185. The outer cover is cardboard or paper made while the bottle is plastic made with green lid. The product is brownish black in color, and is very runny. Got a nice scent. This is basically a hair fall treatment serum for hair growth.

What Biotique claims about the Biotique Bio Mountain Ebony Vitalizing Serum for Falling hair ? : Biotique Bio Mountain Ebony Vitalizing Serum for Falling hair.
Intensive Hair Growth Treatment.
MOUNTAIN EBONY is a precious, magnificently flowering, hardwood tree that is prized for its stimulating and healing properties. This intensive serum is blended with pure extracts of mountain ebony, long pepper, glycyrrhizin and the euphorbia tree, to promote new and healthy hair growth. Stimulates hair, from root to tip, and leaves scalp feeling toned, exhilarated, free from dryness and irritation.

How to use ? : Apply a small amount to dry scalp. Massage in gently with circular motions. Leave on and style as desired.

Ingredients : Pudina oil, Kachnar Stem, Kusumbhi oil, Neem Bark, Pippali Fruit, Mulethi Stem, Purified Water Q.S.

I have been using this for few months now, but not on a regular basis. I find the liquid to be very runny so sometimes it is difficult to work with, but it absorbs really very fast on the scalp and makes your scalp feel cool. However, after using the Biotique Bio Mountain Ebony Vitalizing Serum for Falling hair one needs to shampoo the hair next day as the hair gets all sticky and oily. This is one reason, i cannot use it everyday as its not quite possible for me to shampoo my hair everyday.

I have not seen hair growing back but then i cant really complain as i dont use this product regularly. And guess what i have already purchased another similar product to Biotique Bio Mountain Ebony Vitalizing Serum for Falling hair so guess i need to continue using Biotique for some more time before switching over to some other hair care brands.

So far, the experience is okay. Wont say great!

After the launch of the Go Back In Time video, L'Oreal Paris India presents a heartwarming song called ‘Jad Se Judein’ sung by none other than Mohit Chauhan for the L'Oreal Paris Fall Repair 3X 'Stay Rooted' campaign.

The Jad Se Judein song takes you back to your roots and makes you remember that person who shaped you, those in your life who had a role in making you who you are today – but those who’ve unfortunately been forgotten today.

Stay Rooted L'oreal India Campaign

Hello everyone, you must have noticed the advertisement on television and internet about the L'oreal Paris Fall Repair 3X featuring actress Sonam Kapoor. Few days back, i was asked by the L'oreal team to put a post on this blog about the product and their new campaign. So, lets get started.

'Stay Rooted' is the newest digital campaign from L'oreal Paris Fall Repair 3X.

Every shampoo today speaks about strong hair, but what really matters is the roots that make the hair strong. Only strong roots can give you strong and healthy hair. L’Oreal Paris Fall Repair 3X is one such shampoo that takes care of your roots.

Fall Repair 3X is an Anti-Hair Fall Shampoo that delivers a triple anti-hair fall action. It nourishes the hair root, restructures hair fibre and helps the hair grow stronger from root to tip. Only Fall Repair 3X is enriched with Arginine Essence. Arginine is an essential amino acid that is vital for hair’s constitution. It is known for nourishing the scalp to improve micro-circulation.

Stronger the roots, lesser the hair fall.

And L'oreal believes that real strength of people comes from their ‘roots’. Hence L'oreal Paris's campaign for the next month is called “Stay Rooted”

‘Stay Rooted’ is all about remembering your roots and knowing that whatever you are today is because of your roots. It's about taking time out to thank and appreciate people, things, places etc from your past that have made you "You". Your roots are the main reason for your strength & L'Oreal Paris Fall Repair 3X is giving you a chance to connect to your roots.

This reputed cosmetic brand has also released a video where we have captured people from across different sections of society telling everyone about that one special person who they’d like to go back in time and thank.

You too can be a part of this campaign by simply letting me know about the special person(/s) whom you are thankful to and if given a chance, would surely love to thank him/her! Post a comment on the comment section below, i would like to know about it very much! :)

Here's the video of the campaign 'Stay Rooted'. Have a look! http://bit.ly/GoBackInTime

Damaged Hair? Reason - Keratin Deficiency

If hair gets thin and stiff curly  by the end of the day , and the hair can be tamed only by using a conditioner , the real problem lies in loss of Keratin. A famous hair transplant surgeon says that keratin provides natural conditioning, vital nourishment , strengthens  roots , helps in hair growth and helps to stop split ends. Due to keratin, hair looks silky, bouncy, soft, shiny and gives a natural look. The Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics states that hair grows from cells embedded in the epithelial tissue. The roots of the hair are composed of keratin making cells. Keratin 1 and 2 are the two types of Keratin. These keratins intermingle to form long and strong hair. Chemical bonds between  keratins are  the reason for good quality of hair. These bonds can be easily destroyed , so wet hairs should not be combed. Conditioners make the hair smooth. Loss of keratin means loss of protein . Keratin gets destroyed due to weather conditions which are very much high or low, hormones , hair styles and bad diet. Steps can be taken to undo the damage.

In  order to get the shine back we can use multi vitamins like Biotin which help in the growth of keratin. It is impossible to aid keratin growth with the help of shampoos. There is a nanogen treatment in which there is electrostatic bonding of the keratin to the hair which stays till the wash is done . Nowadays there are some keratin based shampoos by companies like Karetec, Cord, Lasio etc.  These companies claim that the products have no side effects , made from organic materials and can be used for hair that is damaged.
