Nivea Frangipani & Oil Shower Gel Review

Nivea Care Shower Frangipani & Oil shower gel is another shower gel which i have been using for the last couple of days. As i have mentioned many times before, i am not at all a fan of shower gels. Anyways, moving on to the review, this product comes in a plastic container, which is transparent in color with flip-open top. The product smells amazing. It contains 250 ml of the product and costs INR Rs 195.

What Nivea claims about the Nivea Frangipani & oil shower gel ? : Let this fresh shower gel with care oil pearls envelop your skin with a silky soft foam, while its invigorating scent of frangipani stimulates your senses. The caring formula pampers your skin, leaving it feeling moisturized. Turn an everyday shower into a moment full of freshness and care.

Moisturized skin feeling even after towel drying.

Ingredients : Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Trisodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylparaben, Methylparaben, Glycerin, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil etc.

Nivea Frangipani & Oil shower gel is quite runny so you need to be cautious while taking out the gel from the bottle. It is kind of green in color with few microbeads in it. You need only a tiny drop of this to cover and wash your entire face. I use this more as my face wash in the morning after i wake up since the smell is really refreshing. It creates a bit of foam too.

Overall, Nivea Frangipani & oil shower gel is quite a nice product, its just that i am not at all into shower gel so not that much excited about this. I have also reviewed the Nivea Waterlily & Oil Shower Gel here ( read here ). But i like this one better since this one smells really awesome.

Nivea Waterlily and Oil Shower Gel Review

Generally i am not at all a fan of shower gel, however someone got this Nivea Waterlily and Oil Shower Gel and another Nivea shower gel for me, and i had to try them. This one comes in a 250 ml pack and costs INR Rs 185. It lasts for more than 2 months i guess, and since i dont use this regularly, it is lasting for more than 4 months and still some of it is left.

What Nivea claims about the Nivea Waterlily and Oil Shower Gel ? : Tempting freshness meets pampering care.

Stimulate your senses with the feminine scent of Waterlily, while this silky fresh shower gel with replenshing oil pearls turns into a soft caring foam - making your skin feel sensationally soft.

Ingredients : Aqua, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Parfum, Sodium Chloride, Propylene Glycol, Lactose, Methylparaben etc.

Nivea Waterlily and Oil Shower Gel produces some lather, not a lot though. It has got a mild scent. I usually use this as a face wash. The shower gel is basically transparent with some yellowish microbeads in it. Cleans the body well. A few drops on the loofah is enough for whole body and one drop of the gel is enough to cover the face. Its a very mild wash. And makes the skin feel soothing and gentle.

I already have another shower gel from Nivea so i wont be repurchasing the Nivea Waterlily and Oil Shower Gel in near future. Also i am not into shower gels actually, i love bar soaps more.

REVIEW : Nivea Creme Soft Shower Cream

I am not much into body wash, but since i wanted to blog about most of the things which i can lay my hands on, i got this Nivea Creme Soft Shower Cream. It comes in a bottle of 250 ml and costs INR Rs 179.

Its basically a white colored bottle with flip opening. First thing which i really do not like of this product is that, Nivea Creme Soft Shower Cream is almost without any fragrance. It makes me feel not fresh. When we take a shower and use soaps or body wash, then we expect it to have some nice fragrance so that we can feel fresh, but that is absolutely not the case with this one.

The texture is quite runny, but produces good amount of lather or foam. Now after you use the Nivea Creme Soft Shower Cream, my skin feels slippery as if the body wash is still remaining on my body. I really do not like that feature. I mean if you have used Dove soap you will know what i am trying to tell you.

After usage of the Nivea Creme Soft Shower Cream my skin feels soft but i do not get a glowing skin and all with this shower cream from Nivea. Also if used daily we can see the hair root bumps. The product is quite expensive when compared to other brands’ body wash. Totally unsatisfied with the product.

Review : Nivea whitening deodorant spray

Nivea whitening deodorant spray is advertised on television by Anushka Sharma. And i wanted to try it out to see whether it really whitens the underarms as it claims or not. So here’s what i found out.

If you are having dark underarms, then a whitening deodorant is all that you need. Nivea whitening deodorant spray repairs the skin in the underarms and makes it fairer with an even tone. The freshness which this Nivea deo delivers is long lasting and has a floral fragrance in it. This deo contains licorice extracts which are skin lightening agents and helps in reduction of melanin production.

Nivea whitening deodorant spray costs INR Rs 179. If you are having very dark armpits, i am unsure whether this product will show the results on your skin. But it evens out the skin tone well and thus brightens the darker armpits to some extent. If you use a razor then you must have noticed, shaving leaves tiny hairs on the armpits making the underarms look dark. This spray helps in such a case by doing the whitening job averagely.
The fragrance is not much strong. A very light fragrance infact. The fragrance lasts for 3 to 4 hours only. But Nivea whitening deodorant spray does not help in sweat control, also it’s not available in all shops. More or less a decent product, okay as whitening deo, but poor as a spray or perfume. I wont be buying it again.
