NYX Felt Tip Liner Review

Frankly speaking, I am not too much into liquid liners, due to the lack of time for makeup and dress up before going out. But I am not totally averse to liquid liners. Especially the felt tip eyeliners, kind of allure me! So, yes I have got the NYX Felt Tip Liner recently.

What NYX claims about the NYX Felt Tip Liner : Felt Tip Eye Liner eye marker creates a smudge-proof, budge-proof and waterproof line that lives up to its description as a “one-day tattoo.” The eye liner marker releases the ideal amount of ink for decidedly dramatic peepers.

The NYX Felt Tip Liner costs INR Rs 650 and you get just 0.6 ml of the thing – expensive, no doubt! First of all, the felt tip liner in this eyeliner makes the application super easy. It kind of looks like a marker pen with a sharpened tip. The sharp tip allows to draw fine lines. However, the tip tends to catch on dirt and colors of the eyeshadows soon, so do have a tissue nearby, so that you can wipe the dirt away. What I like about the eyeliner is that you can draw both thick and thin lines, according to your likes and dislikes.

You can get NYX Felt Tip Liner in two colors – Jet Black, Dark Brown. Now after you apply the eyeliner on the eyelids, it tends to dry super fast. It has a good flow. The liner stays on well for whole day. But one thing, which has made me to not “like” the eyeliner, is that the quantity! It lasts for a few days only, and dries so soon. So even though the liner is good, it gets over so soon, that its not possible to repurchase and use it again.

Also the color ‘jet black’ is not super black (you know what I mean!). Its kind of faded black or bluish black. So that’s another negative quality of this NYX felt tip eye liner.

NYX Mosaic Powder Blush Review

NYX Mosaic Powder Blush costs INR Rs 720 to 900 in India. You can get 12 shades of the blush, however I guess in online Indian makeup stores you can find only a few of these.

What NYX says about the NYX Mosaic Powder Blush ? : Like a light switch for the face, this medley of five luminizers creates a dazzling glow for every skin tone. Our Mosaic Powder Blush can be used on cheeks, eyes and even lips. The mineral-based formula highlights, hydrates and helps protect skin. Available in 12 shades.

It comes in a round container. The top is see-through and is quite sturdy. You are gonna get 5 shades of colors in one container. I find the blush in the coral family is unfit to be used daily, however the one in Pink shades is much better. NYX Mosaic Powder Blush contains a bit of shimmer particles, but that’s very subtle.

The texture of the NYX Mosaic Powder Blush is silky and blends out quite well. The color combinations of the blushes are not so good. And if you are going to use blush brushes you will notice that its picking up the darker or brighter shade much more. The blushes are quite pigmented and quality is not bad – only if all these blushes could be separated and used, it would of much help, since this form of blush is not working fine with me at least!

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils are an alternative to eye shadow base or primers. Here i am gonna talk about...err..i mean i am gonna write about Jumbo Pencil “Milk”. It is used as a base, which sets in the eye shadows applied on it, properly. And makes the shades look vibrant.

Not only you can use NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils as an eye shadow base, you can use it as a liner or even as an eye shadow. It can applied very smoothly on your eyelids, you need not struggle to get the color on your lids. Even though its a pencil, but the texture is smooth and not dry. It is made up of powder and also some mineral oils.

As the name suggests, NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils are really large sized, i mean jumbo ones! There are various shades available, but i guess MILK is really very handy and most suitable to be used for any kind of eyes you create with any shades. Milk is white in color, milky white! The tip of the pencil aint pointed, so ideal for smudging and building up a great base for eye shadows. Not glittery. It blends really well. It makes eye shadows more vibrant, so use it a little, and not if you are doing a day-time makeup, otherwise you will look overdone with your makeup.

Milk is so white, that it might change your eye shadow color a bit, and wont go well with lighter eye shadows. I would suggest you not to go for it if you are dark skinned, or olive toned. Not sure, whether it can be used on the waterline or not. Also you cant use it to line your eyes thinly, since the tip is not at all pointer.

You can use it at times as a highlighter. Even on your brow-bone. Also NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils are just US $ 4 each, and available in 27 shades. So you get to choose from a wide color range, and that too at a super-affordable price!

 NYX HD STUDIO FOUNDATION is enriched in minerals and suitable for photo sessions, as claimed by NYX. Its free from talcum powder and paraben. Since this foundation is specialy formulated for photogenic makeup, its SPF free too. This foundation helps you in getting photogenic make up done perfectly. This foundation is said to rejuvenate your skin and also to reduce fine lines and wrinkles on your skin.

It gives you medium coverage. Spreads out evenly and is easy to blend. If you want to get more coverage, just keep applying the foundation more. The foundation is matte. The packaging is fine, comes in a pump bottle.

Since this foundation does not consist any SPF, its great to use for photographic make up. SPF reflects back light since it contains titanium dioxide, so while taking a photo, your face is gonna reflect back all the light, making you look weird and artificial.

It comes in 8 shades - Nude, Soft Beige, Natural, Sand Beige, Medium, Natural Beige, Warm Sand, California Tan. But only one dissapointing fact is that, this foundation does not have any shade suitable for dark skin tone.

There is a slight smell. But one pump of foundation is enough for one time application if you want a medium coverage. It has got a sheer to it. It lasts quite long, almost for 8 hours. Costs US $ 15 for a bottle of 1.26 oz.

Well, i am quite happy with the product. Its pocket friendly and cheap, still its a good product, worth trying! Superb for photogenic make up. I would love to purchase this product again and again.
