Lóreal Paris Voluminous Original Mascara (Black Brown) Review

Eye makeup without mascara is never complete. So i just got this Lóreal Paris Voluminous Original Mascara in Black Brown shade. The carbon black shade was presently not available in the website from where i purchased this, so i went ahead and bought this one. It contains 8 ml of the product and was sold at around INR Rs 900.

What Lóreal claims about the Lóreal Paris Voluminous Original Mascara ? : Voluminous Original Mascara is uniquely formulated to resist clumping and build lashes up to 5X their natural thickness. The volume maximizing brush thickens lashes evenly and smoothly, leaving them soft with virtually no flakes for a full and dramatic look. Clump-resistant. Fragrance-free. Opthalmologist-tested and allergy-tested. Suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.

As the brand advertises, the Lóreal Paris Voluminous Original Mascara is a curling mascara with soft bristles. Now, i really regret for not buying the carbon black shade and going for the black brown, as the effect is not the same. Brown is always more subtle and natural and we wont get the dramatic effect. As promised by Lóreal i did not get any flakes or clumps whenever i wore this. Also removing this mascara is very easy with makeup remover, you need not go over with soap and face wash etc to get rid of the clumps.

Lóreal Paris Voluminous Original Mascara gives a very nice natural full eyelashes look. I really like that, but it is not particularly suitable for photography. However, if you are going out and prefer a natural full eyelash look, then you can just go and invest in this mascara. For me, at times i like a full on dramatic eye makeup so for me the best is Maybelline Colossal Mascara hands down. But then change is always good. So i am quite liking this mascara and am sure the results would have been better if i would get the pure black mascara. One coat of this mascara is enough to cover up one eye's lashes. The bristle is also very soft and wont poke or hurt your eyes. The consistency is kind of creamy, and that's what makes the application very smooth.

So, final words which i would leave right here are this Lóreal Paris Voluminous Original Mascara is great if you are going out and want to get the full eyelashes without wearing false eyelashes and yet keep it very subtle and kind of natural. The effect would be visible and can be noticed by others so thats not an issue, however in photography, this might not be able to capture the flutter perfectly as the look is not that dramatic or OTT. If you want something over the top, then this particular shade Black Brown of this mascara wont help you achieve that, i have a feeling that the Carbon Black will give dramatic look as promised but then i have not tried it so cant vouch for it.

REVIEW : L’oreal Extra Volume Collagen Mascara

I find that instead of coating the eyelashes with tons of mascara, which might lead to eyelash falls, using a pair of fake eyelashes to make the eyes attractive, is a better solution. For everyday use, however I skip falsies and mascaras and set out bravely with natural eyelashes.

Now few days back, as I was skimming the webpages of an Indian online shopping website, L’oreal Extra Volume Collagen Mascara attracted my attention. It was super cheap, considering the fact its from the house of L’oreal where a lipstick costs almost Rs 900. Also the fact it contains “collagen” which is generally used as an anti-wrinkle treatment, made me interested and I badly wanted to try it.

L'Oréal gives you it's secret expert combination of a super-sized brush and a Hydra-Collagen enriched formula. Extra Volume Collagene Range The Instant Impact brush is 2 x bigger than a classic L'Oréal volumising brush to build volume fast. It deposits just the right amount of formula on each and every lash with virtualy no clumps. Lashes that look instantly plumped up. Breathtaking volume, now in waterproof.

L’oreal Extra Volume Collagen Mascara costs INR Rs 570. It contains 9 ml of the product and the mascara is deep black. Its supposed to curl your lashes and stay intact whole day. When I used the mascara, indeed it did so, also lengthened the lashes and thickened it. Now that was really a WOW! L’oreal says the mascara pumps the eyelashes with “Hydra-collagen”.

Coming to the last part of the review, at the end of the day, I met with a surprise. Tiny black flakes were seen in my under eye areas, which was not at all pleasant to look at (you can well imagine!). Also the mascara smudged and got horrible. I was really not expecting this, but then it happened! Is there any other option rather than throwing L’oreal Extra Volume Collagen Mascara away in dustbin?

L'oreal Volumnious Million Lashes Mascara

L'oreal volumnious millon lashes mascara, a drugstore product, claims to multiply your lashes, and gift you a million lashes!

The mascara applicator is a big one, and reaches to your corner eye lashes even. Definitely it adds some length to your lashes, but does not millionize the lashes ofcourse.  The mascara doe not clump, and you wont be feeling the weight of your lashes after apllication of mascara. No smudging, no flaking.

It adds length to lashes but at the same time, your lashes will look much sparse and not at all healthy and full. It costs around US $ 11, so a bit expensive. So, if you are in need of a mascara that will volumnize your lashes in the true sense, this is not for you. Only for lengthening its okay!

To sum up, i am not very pleased with the product. I wont be re-purchasing it.
