Vedantika Ayurvedic Herbals Anti Ageing Mask REVIEW

I have been using this Vedantika Ayurvedic Herbals Anti Ageing Mask for few months now. It comes in a transparent plastic bottle with a metallic cap. It contains 70 g of the product and costs INR Rs 250.

What Vedantika claims about the Vedantika Ayurvedic Herbals Anti Ageing Mask ? : An ancient Ayurvedic recipe that prevents sagging and ageing of the skin. It enhances cell regeneration, improves skin  metabolism and leaves the skin radiant with a stain texture.

Ingredients : Ash of Turbinella Rapa, Ocimum Gratissimum, Terminalia Bellerica, Aloe Barbadensis, Cassia Tora, Camphora officinarum, Fuller's Earth Q.S etc

How to use : Mix one tea spoon of the face pack with rose water. Add few drops of honey if you have dry skin. Apply thick layer over face and neck. Let it dry for 5-10 minutes. Wash off.

Now, some of us got a thing for ayurvedic and herbal products, so in that case you can totally try this Vedantika Ayurvedic Herbals Anti Ageing Mask out. The quantity is quite a lot, considering you dont need to use it everyday. Usually i used this once a week, right now as its winter i am not using this anymore. The packaging is kind of neat and simple, however you need to be careful while taking the product out as the opening is kind of big. It is also travel-friendly, did not get any spillage yet. The product is powdery when dry and i just used rose water to mix this up. And then you just need to wait upto 10 minutes to let this dry on your face. It dries up really fast, so even if you are in a hurry you wont need much time. You will get the smell of camphor the moment you open the lid, and once you apply it on the face too you get the same smell. I personally dont mind, if you dont like the smell then you should not buy this though.

I dont know about the anti-ageing and firming claims, as i made my mother to try this out, but she or me could not see any difference. However, after you have washed your face post application of Vedantika Ayurvedic Herbals Anti Ageing Mask, you can see the skin looks much clean and glowing. I like that about this mask, that is the only thing which i can tell you about the product. However that glow is temporary, so if you are just heading out to date in 30 minutes you can try this and later put on makeup and go, might be helpful.

Finally i would like to state that i am not even half way through this bottle so wont be repurchasing this in anytime future. And i did not see any remarkable or visible changes in the skin, so definitely this is not in my favourites list.

Lotus Ecostay Long Lasting Lip Color SPF 20 REVIEW (Shade Fuschia Smile 421)

I have used the Lotus Ecostay Long Lasting Lip Color SPF 20 for 4-5 times now. Its in shade Fuschia Smile 421. Its basically a pink fuschia color. It comes in a cardboard outer packaging light shimmery pink in color with a sleek metallic case which is again of pinkish color. The packaging is extremely travel-friendly. The cost is INR Rs 545 for a pack of 4.2 g.

One swipe and your lips are ready for healthier shine all day long without any loss of moisture, ensuring flawless finish. SPF 20 gives UV protection. Give your lips this healthy nutrition.
Feel the PURITY all day long.

To start this, i must say Lotus Ecostay Long Lasting Lip Color SPF 20 is not a proper long stay lipstick, i have used better long stay makeup products, and this one does not live upto the expectation or claims. The lipstick will stay intact as long as you dont take a sip of water or a bite, post that it will start fading. Yes the pinkish tint stays on the lips for almost 12 hours, but if you are talking about long staying power, then this does not work! This Lotus lipstick is not waterproof or smudge-proof.

The finish that you get is semi-matte and you need to put at least 2-3 swipes on your lips to get full coverage, so the process is kind of cumbersome, and it would be better to say Lotus Ecostay Long Lasting Lip Color does not give enough color payoff. It has a weird fruity smell, something which i am not a fan of but can live with it. I have also heard the lighter lipcolors of this range, dries up the lips faster and gets patchy, though i have not noticed something like that with this particular shade of Fuschia Smile.

However, that the Lotus lipstick contains SPF 20 is an added advantage. Also the company claims that the lipsticks are paraben and preservative free and totally natural. Finally i would like to write here i did not like the Lotus Ecostay Long Lasting Lip Color SPF 20 because the price is quite high and the pigmentation is not that great. Also the particular shade of pink makes my face look darker, so probably i wont be trying out anymore shades from this range in future.

Review of Biotique Bio Pineapple Oil Control Foaming Face Wash

Biotique Bio Pineapple Oil Control Foaming Face Wash contains 150 ml of the product and costs INR Rs 179. It comes in a plastic tube which is transparent with a green flip open cap. The product is yellowish in color and got a shampoo like smell, and the consistency is very runny almost watery, one can say. The packaging is not at all travel-friendly, since i have tried to carry it and saw some leakage. This face wash is suitable for normal to oily skin, as has been claimed by Biotique.

How to apply ? : Gently massage over wet face & neck with fingertips, lather & rinse, morning & evening.

Ingredients : Haldi Rhizome, Neem Bark, Lavang Oil, Anaras Pulp, Ritha Fruit, Purified Water.

Biotique Bio Pineapple Oil Control Foaming Face Wash is totally a herbal product with no chemicals as you can see from the ingredients list. Though i dont have any preference regarding herbal or non-herbal products, but some of you might have, so. I found this does not produce a lot of lather, however the product that you need to clean your face everytime is also very less in quantity due to the runny consistency. Talking about oil control, which the product claims to be controlling, i did not see even any noticeable difference. I already have an oily skin, however this face wash fails to reduce any oiliness of my skin. My skin gets back to the same oily state within an hour after washing my face with this.

I wont be repurchasing Biotique Bio Pineapple Oil Control Foaming Face Wash as i did not get any results as has been promised by the company. Not happy. However, this face wash does clean the face as any other soap or face wash would do, and that is it about this product.

Organic Harvest Orange Essential Oil Review

RATING :- WORST PRODUCT (MAJOR FAIL)

Today i am going to review one product which i have purchased perhaps 3 days back and had to immediately write about it to make the consumers aware. The Organic Harvest Orange Essential Oil is the grossest product i have ever used. It comes in a 10 ml pack and costs INR Rs 300. Not only the money went down the drain, but the pain and suffering that came alongwith this one product is worth to be shared.

What Organic claims about the Organic Harvest Orange Essential Oil ? : The citrusy and sweet aroma of this essential oil gives an emotional upliftment when used as diffuser.

This Essential Oil can be used for :

Skin

• Healthy young beautiful skin.
• Supports collagen formation and hence acts as anti-wrinkle.

Hair

• Promotes hair to grow longer and fuller.

Body, Mind & Soul

• Stabilizes and calms mind.

Composition / Ingredient : Pure Orange Oil

Precaution : Essential oil to be used only along with carrier oil for massage. If oil gets into the eyes, rinse them with plenty of water. Not recommended for children below 3 years.

Do not apply directly on the skin.

Essential oil can be allergic to the skin. The user is advised to use it at his own discretion.

How to use : Add 6-8 drops of the oil per 30 ml of product (scrub, lotion and cream etc). Add 4-6 drops of oil to an aromatherapy diffuser to scent your space or directly into a bath.

Now, coming to the result after using this Organic Harvest Orange Essential Oil. I used this only once alongwith the skin toner. Put 2 drops of this oil in 30 ml of Organic Neem Tulsi Skin Toner and applied it on the face and within seconds, the cheeks started burning as if i have poured some corrosive substance on the skin. The skin also got red and irritated and it was really painful and stinging. I immediately rushed and applied ice cubes within 2 minutes on my face, and also washed my face with cold water. But nothing was really helping. It took almost 40 minutes when my skin got a bit normal, a bit irritation was there on the skin, and still the cheeks were red and swollen. I applied a Lóreal moisturizer and somehow carried on with my work. After 3 hours or so, the swelling and redness disappeared.

Organic Harvest Orange Essential Oil comes in a miniature glass bottle with black plastic lid. Alongwith it comes a glass dropper to take the product and use. It smells of orange, a very strong artificial scent it got, which i really did not like and you can get the smell far from the next room. The oil is totally colorless and since you cant apply it on the skin directly dont know whether it is sticky or not.

Organic Harvest Orange Essential Oil is a big NO NO for me. I made my mother to try this too on her hands in a very less quantity just for review purpose, and it was stinging still. So in both the cases the product is a major FAILURE. I would suggest you guys not to buy this product at all unless you want a pain therapy.

Organic Neem Tulsi Toner Review

I got this toner about a month or so before. Have been using it almost on alternate days. The Organic Neem Tulsi Toner costs INR Rs 345 for a pack of 125 ml and comes in a transparent plastic bottle with pump dispenser. The liquid is green in color as you can see. I have lost the cap of this bottle though.

What Organic claims about the  Organic Neem Tulsi Toner ? : Neem – a tree for solving global problems, acts as Antiviral, Antifungal, Antimicrobial and Antibacterial. A toner enriched with goodness of Neem and Tulsi, heavenly remedies for any type of skin. Its unique oil-free and alcohol free formulation will give your skin a natural healthy glow.

Free of Parabens, Mineral Oil and Animal ingredients.

Usage : Use AM and PM after cleaning. Press gently into skin with cotton pad or fingertips. Follow it up with lotion or cream.

Shake well before use.

Color of the product may change due to the use of Organic and Natural ingredients.

For Oily skin. Alcohol free.

Ingredients : Aqua, Neem Extract, Basil Extract, in water base.

Usually i use this toner only once a day after cleaning my face with face wash. If i use a cleanser prior to this, my skin gets super oily post using this toner and it feels very sticky when i touch my skin. Also Organic Neem Tulsi Toner is better if you use with cotton pad, because if you are using finger tips you will need much more of the product. This toner is okay if you are just looking to refresh your skin, after you have washed your face. I don’t think it adds any facial glow or anything of that sort.

But definitely no alcohol in the product is a big plus for this toner. However, the price of the toner is quite a bit so i don’t know if i will repurchase this anytime soon. Also the claim that the Organic Neem Tulsi Toner is suitable for oily skin, seems not to be genuine as i already have mentioned it makes my skin very sticky if i used makeup remover or cleaning lotion before this. The product got a mild smell, which is not very appealing to me.
