REVLON Colorstay Mineral Foundation review

Fashionistas and muas are in love with mineral makeup. It gives great coverage, found in powder form, suitable for acne-prone oily sensitive skin.

Revlon mineral foundation is a loose powder, which is very light, ideal for daily use, lasts for long hours. Provides nice coverage, although its not full coverage. No fading, or streaking. It has got SPF 10. And is matte, non oily. Comes in 8 shades.

Cleanse your face with face-wash, then apply the foundation with a large powder brush. Dont forget to tap off the excess powder before applying! Available in drugstore, and is priced around US $ 14.

You have to twist the black lid of the product to open it, the brush is below the lid attached with it. The foundation blends really well. You will get a satin like finish. If you need more coverage, you can first apply a liquid or cream foundation and then set it, with the revlon product.

Now talking about the negative points : the foundation makes my skin greasy after 2 to 3 hours, though it claims to be lasting upto 16 hours. If you want to cover up your acne scars and pigmentation, you need to apply concealer. Simply using this foundation wont help you at all! It comes in a fat jar, so little difficult to carry it in your handbag. If more of the foundation is applied, it can make your face look chalky, so beware of that. Rather expensive, since i generally have to use it as a loose powder only. I have a lot of scars and pimples, so this product fails to impress me!

So just a tip gals, if you have bought this foundation, i would suggest not to apply directly. First apply another cream or liquid foundation, you can also use a concealer after that. And finally, sweep some Revlon mineral foundation all over your face.
