Enjoy monsoon at home while staying fit!

Its monsoon outside, while its fun inside! I have reviewed a lot of products these days, so just for a change, here’s an article on fitness. Now, have you ever faced problems going to a gym while getting splashed with rain and muddy water? Well if thats the case, and you having a big big frown on your face, we have got a solution to this trouble of yours. Here’s a list of a few excercises which you can do at home, while giving gyms a miss and yet staying perfectly in shape!
Spot Jogging is a wonderful option which helps in warming up. Just you need to lift your knees and then hit back the ground, while moving your arms and legs as if you are running. And you can lose 215 calories if you do 30 minutes of spot jogging.
Skipping is the best option if you are looking for a cardio workout. It improves coordination as well as flexibilty. It helps not only in building bones but also shapes up your sides, hips and thighs. You can burn almost 560 calories in one hour by skipping.
Strength training at home is one alternative. Just get a nice set of dumbbells. Incase you dont have dumbbells, filled up water bottles is another option. You are going to burn 200 calories in an hour by strength training.

Plank is a great excercise where you just need to be in a push-up position by bending your arms and moving towards the floor. Now extend your arms and hold the position for 30 seconds. This will tone up your abs, back ans stabiliser muscles. Per hour you can burn 350 calories.
Yoga helps in uniting the mind, body and soul! Surya Namaskar is the best yoga form. Yoga relaxes your body while making you much more flexible, and you can burn upto 280 calories in one hour.
Pilates can develop your body through graceful movements, core strength and flexibility. At home you can practise mat pilates. The hundred is one of the mat pilates which promotes breathing and circulation of blood. This helps in burning 260 calories in just an hour.
