The Body Shop Carbon Eye Definer (Black) Review

RATING – 8.3 OUT OF 10

Today I am going to review the Body Shop Carbon Eye Definer in color black. It costs INR Rs 575 and is also available in 4 more shades except the Black one, Crayon Khol Nuance. The other shades available are Brown (Rich Brown), White, Navy Blue (French Navy) and Taupe.

What Body Shop claims about the Body Shop Carbon Eye Definer? : An intense, ultra colour eye definer with line smudger incorporated on to the end of the pencil. The formulation is water- resistant, with a smooth texture for blendable and smudgable effect. The pigments give high coverage and the formulation is long wearing.

How to use the Body Shop Carbon Eye Definer? : Draw the pencil along the lash line, or inner rim, smudge for a softer line.

Ingredients : Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil (Emollient/Hair Conditioner), Hydrogenated Castor Oil (Emollient), Mica (Opacifier), Ceresin (Stabiliser), Cera Alba (Emulsifier/Emollient), Tocopherol (Antioxidant), CI 77266 (Colorant).

This pencil is meant to be smudged so if you are looking for a smudge-proof eyeliner, this Body Shop Carbon Eye Definer would not serve your purpose. But this is just awesome for smokey eyes, as the pencil also has a smudger at the back, so you need not have a smudger separately to make smokey eyes.

The Body Shop Carbon Eye Definer can be used in the waterline too, and you can smudge it afterwards, its safe to be used on the waterline. It is waxy and quite pigmented. The pencil is smooth and soft, and easily blendable, also its waterproof, that’s an added advantage. It can be worn for long hours. Overall a nice eye pencil!
