Here’s a skincare product which i am using
lately, its from H2O+. As i do
have oily skin, i suffer from breakouts frequently. So i had to try out the H2O+ Anti-Acne Calming Corrector. It
contains 30 ml of the product and retails for INR Rs 1400.
Ingredients : Salicyclic Acid (1.5%), Water, SD
Alcohol 40-B, Witch Hazel, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Glycolic Acid, Sodium
Lactate, Sodium Hydroxide, Sea Salts, Palmaria Palmata Extract, Crithmum
Maritimum Extract, Zinc Sulfate, etc.
What H2O+
claims about H2O+ Anti-Acne Calming Corrector
:
-
Treats acne.
- Dries up acne blemishes.
- Helps prevent the development of new acne blemishes.
How to use : Cleanse the skin thoroughly before
applying medication. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer one to
three times daily. Because excessive drying of the skin might occur, start with
one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if
needed or as directed by a doctor.

I have been using this for a month now. The claims
made by the company are true except the last one. I found my skin breaking out
even after using the H2O+
Anti-Acne Calming Corrector for a long time. So, it just cant
prevent the development of new acne. But definitely helps in healing the
previous pimples/acnes, and also kind of fades the marks caused by acne.
I generally use this at night, only once a day. It
causes dryness, not only for the product but more for the winter, i guess. H2O+ Anti-Acne Calming Corrector
contains Alpha hydroxyl acid which is (AHA) and therefore it has been advised
by the company only, to limit sun exposure and always use a good sunblock while
going out. Else there is a possibility of having sun burns. Well, i do use
sunscreen always, so thats nothing new, but i do not know if still my skin is
getting damaged by the sun since i am using such a product.
There is an amount of risk in using these kind of
products with Sunburn Alert because its so very difficult to limit sun
exposure. Also the H2O+
Anti-Acne Calming Corrector did not do any miracle on my skin, i
mean i am still getting acnes. And the acne marks fades, but slowly after using
this. So nothing special about the product.
One more thing, which has dissapointed me is that,
the pump does not work of the H2O+
Anti-Acne Calming Corrector. So, i need to open the cap always and
touch the serum with the hands, so it kind of gets dirty. The packaging and the
nozzle is a mess.
