Kangana Ranaut's Makeup Breakdown and Makeup Looks from Tanu Weds Manu Returns Film

Hey girls, i am back with another makeup look breakdown. This time its from the film Tanu Weds Manu Returns. So, in this post i will be writing about Kangana Ranaut’s makeup look in the recently released super-hit Hindi film.

This is one of my favourite look of Kangana from Tanu Weds Manu Returns film. This is basically a bridal look, and actually these are the clips from the first part of the film which were incorporated in the second part. Here Kangana is seen in a green lehenga choli, with hair pulled and tied at the back. She got her foundation, concealing, powdering done well, and then as can be seen her eyebrows has been given a round shape, instead of the stereotypical arched brows. Eye makeup is very light. Just a thin layer of eye shadow in beige or flesh tone all over her eyelids, and on top off that she got some medium brown eyeshadow on till the crease. And throughout the film, she could be seen with the thick winged eyeliner look on the upper lash line, keeping the waterline bare. Just to make the eyes bigger, white liner can be used on the bottom lash line. Yes then curling the lashes and applying generous coats of volumnizing mascara is very essential. A subtle hint of pink blush on the apples of the cheeks would be fine. And finally, red glossy lips completes the look.

I also love Tanu aka Kangna’s look in this still, where she has applied very less makeup and yet looks stunning. This particular makeup look is not only suitable for saree-wearers but also if you are casually dressing up in a hurry. Rosy cheeks is the first thing we can notice in this clip. Eye makeup has been kept simple, with just a beige shadow applied all over the eyelids and then black kajal has been applied very thickly on the upper lash line almost half way upto the crease. Kind of a smokey eye effect. Finally, on her lips Tanu got soft muted matte pink lipcolor. Hair has been curled and either tied back or left open with a side parting throughout the movie for Tanu’s character.

And finally this look of Tanu aka Kangana is gorgeous. She was seen in an orange salwar suit with her hair curled. Coral blush has been applied generously on her cheeks. For eyes, light eyeshadow has been applied with a thick black liner on her upper lash line. On the lower lash line, starting from the outer corner of the eyes, the same black liner has been used to line 1/4^th of her bottom lash line. The rest 3/4^th of the bottom lash line has been lined by a white pencil liner. She got faux eye lashes on in this particular song clip thats Ghani Bawri. She got bright orangish red lipstick on her lips.

As you know, Kangana played double roles in this flick, one was very feminine that is of Tanu’s the other is androgynous that is of Datto. Datto got bob cut hairstyle, and usually wore casual t-shirt and full pants or track pants. She is basically an athelete in the film. So very nominal makeup has been used to create the role. Eyebrows has been mildly arched to bring out the difference between the two characters. A soft brown eyeshadow has been applied on the eyelids, and after tightlining the eyes well with a black liner, she applied coats of lengthening mascara on the eye lashes. On the lips she put on some soft brown matte lipstick and patted off the excess with a tissue. Thats all. This look of Datto is perfect for anyone who believes in no makeup look.
