Fashionistas at the IIFA 2015

Well, i know i am very late in posting this particular post, but then i could not resist myself to write about the stunning divas who walked the green carpet at the IIFA 2015 with all elan and poise.

On another note, the 16^th International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) took place on 5^th june this year at Malaysia. And heart-throbs Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor were the hosts of the event.

The first diva is one of my personal favourites. Malaika Arora Khan proves it time and again, she can not only be a sexy bold tigress but can be the most charming angel on earth too! She is looking like a diva that she is, and every inch of her hot body is exuding oomph in that lacey flared white gown.

Malaika looks like a true pop-star in this black and gold Masaba ensemble.

Sonakshi Sinha can really ‘Khamosh’ us with her fashion sense. She might not be the conventional size zero fashionista, but you know, fat on the right places never can go wrong. That pretty face was glowing when she wore the chic Monisha Jaising black dress which had a deep plunging neckline and of course sexy slits which were thigh high.

Bipasha Basu might be missing from the silver screen for quite sometime, but she is a supermodel. No doubts! She stepped on the red carpet donning a red hot ensemble from Gauri and Nainika.

Thats not all! Bips amazed us while looking fabulous in the Sabyasachi green colored gown. The floor sweeping gown made her look all glam while she got decked in Anmol jewellery.

I really loved how Aditi Rao Hydari charmed the show and the green carpet walk in the printed gown created by Shantanu and Nikhil. Absolutely mesmerizing detailing at the waist line! She had minimal jewellery on her body and those dark lips gave her an uber cool look.

Jacqueline Fernandez can be called the modern day Disney princess. The sparkling green gown with thin straps made by Monisha Jaising looked nothing less than awesome on her bod. That bright pink pout can never go wrong!

Kriti Sanon might be still tagged as a newbie in the industry, but she is undoubtedly a pure Bollywood diva. The blue Bibhu Mohapatra gown is elegant. Her clutch was from Furla and ornaments from Miss Flurrty.

Well this list wont be complete if i don’t mention about Deepika Padukone since she is one of the reigning queens of Bollywood. We had high expectations from this Box Office queen but unfortunately her looks was not that flattering. The red beige sparkly saree by Sabyasachi had too much of bling and was too heavy for the dimpled gal it seemed. Also her makeup was too light for such an event, her rest of the face looked pale and washed out except her red lips, which saved her from committing a fashion and beauty disaster. We have seen Dippy in better fashionable ensembles than this with better makeup, this was kind of flat and not flattering! L

Huma Qureshi could have looked way better had she not chosen the color blocking saree gown by Shivan and Narresh. Her makeup is perfect and glam with smokey eyes, bun and gold earrings.

And last but not the least, Neha Dhupia should be mentioned in the list. She might be a name of the past in the Bollywood actress list, however she msnsges to stun the viewers everytime she attends events. She was seen on the green carpet in the white dress by Anamika Khanna with silver embroidery. She got the side bag from Amrapali.

Another offbeat style statement Neha made when she donned the white P.E.L.L.A draping dress. Her golden anklet and golden sandals looked extremely graceful. And the Edie Parker black clutch with LOVE inscribed on it, could not go unnoticed!

And just when we thought, Neha Dhupia was out there at IIFA 2015 giving white swans complex, she makes an entry with a very colourful bright ensemble, which is perfect to break the monsoon drab. She wore a sky blue printed cropped top with bright yellow separates by Neha Agarwal. To finish off the look, she carried a yellow cluth by Etre and for the shoes wore sequinned pumps by Isabel Marant. All three looks of Neha Dhupia were top-notch, and according to me the BEST at the IIFA 2015.
