If you have ever wondered why do we need concealers
of various colors like concealers in blue, orange, green, purple colors, then
this article will help you to know more about the color correcting concealers
and usage of color correcting concealer. If you want to achieve flawless skin tone,
then read on to know how to use color correcting concealer to get rid of your
flaws and get perfect skin tone.
Green
concealer or yellow concealer – If you got any redness
on skin, a green or yellow concealer works the best on such redness. Just
ensure you use a clean concealer brush or fingertips and dab on the concealer
on the red spots. This concealer will immediately neutralize any redness on the
skin. Whether you have a pimple, rosacea, redness around the eyes, or broken
blood vessels, you can cover these up with the green concealer.
Orange
concealer – If you have dark circles and bags under
your eyes, which look purple or blue, go on and dab some orange concealer. For
drag queen makeup, orange concealer is of a lot of importance, because the drag
queens do apply a lot of thus orange concealer on their chin and jaw area to
cover up any 5’o clock shadow which might appear even after shaving.
Yellow
concealer or peach concealer – Even yellow or peach
concealers can be used to cover up purplish or bluish under-eye bags or
circles.
Violet
or lavender concealer – You can use this concealer on any
yellow colored bruises. It adds on to the glow to complexion and saves us from
looking too dull or pasty.
Apart from these color correctors, you can always
use a concealer which is at least one shade lighter than your skin tone, to
brighten up areas like under eyes. And if you got a bump which you want to
hide, use a concealer which is at least one or two shades darker than your skin
tone on the area.

After you have applied the color correcting
concealers, make sure to go over those places with a sheer concealer which
matches your skin tone or may be a shade ligher than your complexion, to layer
on top of the color corrector. Finally, apply foundation all over your face
and neck. You can puff on some translucent powder too on top of this.
