Dermalogica Skin Renewal Booster Review

RATING :- 4 OUT OF 10

Dermalogica Skin Renewal Booster comes in a package of 30 ml and costs INR Rs 3870. This is not a recently purchased product, got this last year. It comes in a white plastic small bottle with gray cap. And the outer cover is made up of paper or cardboard and is gray in color. One pack lasts long.

What Dermalogica claims about the Dermalogica Skin Renewal Booster ? : Exfoliating fluid concentrate to revitalize dry, aging skin. A hydroxy acid concentrate of Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid and Hibiscus Extract exfoliates dead skin cells, revealing new skin and smoothing skin texture. Formulated without artificial fragrances and colors.
This product may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun. Use a sunscreen and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

Ingredients : Water, Lactic Acid, Butylene Glycol, Isodecyl Salicylate, Sodium Hydroxide, Lemon Fruit Extract, Lavender Extract, Retinol, Sodium PCA, Phenoxyethanol etc.

Coming to the effects that i have observed after using this. This is an okayish product, smoothes the skin tone as claimed. Dont know about the skin renewal claims, whether they are true or false. Dermalogica Skin Renewal Booster does not have any smell as mentioned. The product is white in color and a bit sticky when applied but absorbs in sometime. I did not use this personally but made someone to try this one, and the skin did not break out, and she got combination to oily skin type. So, it would be suitable for all skin types i guess. Directions to use this product has not been mentioned, but i do think if applied once at night before sleep, it would be sufficient. Also if applied during vacation, when you dont go out much in the sun, this product would be suitable as there is a note to limit sun exposure which comes alongwith this booster serum.

Dermalogica Skin Renewal Booster is a bit expensive and i really did not see any such dramatic effect of getting a new skin regenerated or anything as mentioned. Also although the sun exposure was very limited but still had to go out few times a week in the daytime, that did not harm anything visibly. So if you are using sunblock, you are okay to go out. Though this might change with skin type, so cant stress on this.

I would not repurchase this Dermalogica Skin Renewal Booster as i did not feel the claims of Dermalogica to be really true and did not see any such great improvement except making the skin smooth.
