Highly pigmented and stays on for a long time, with getting smudged or creased. A gel liner basically, which can be applied both on your lower and upper lashline. But remember, it dries up quickly, so if you wanna smudge it, do it as soon as you have applied it on your eyelids. Apply a very small amount. You dont need a lot of the product. And after you have used it, close the lid properly.

A brief study on the cabbage soup diet

• 1 Cup shredded cabbage of approximate 70 grams, has calorific value of 17.
• 1 Cup of chopped cabbage weighing 90 grams approximately, has calorific value of 21.
• 1 cabbage leaf of 20 to 35 grams has calorific value of around 8.
• 1 full cabbage head of 900 grams has nearly 220 calorie.
• 1 Large cabbage head of around 1300 grams has got nearly 300 calorie.

THE CABBAGE SOUP DIET

Many supermodels, celebs, film stars befriend cabbages in order to lose weight at a miraculous fast rate. While going for the cabbage soup diet, one generally relies on cabbages more than anything else in the world. And its supplemented with a handful of low calorie dishes.

This diet plan leaves you craving for more food,  since the food choices are very less in number. And possibly you will get bored by eating cabbages, so would want to get rid of the cabbage soup diet even before the duration of 7 days get completed.

Only once in a while, and that also only for a week, you can go for the cabbage soup diet. There is no need of doing vigorous exercises  or anything of that sort. Mainly the dietitians will put stress on the diet. You can lose upto 10 pounds of weight in just one week, so that is the only brighter side of this plan.

Everyday for a week, you have to consume two biggie bowls of cabbage soups, whether you like it or not! Along with that, you can munch on fruits like apples, guavas, et cetera except bananas.
Black tea and coffee is allowed but it must be sugar and milk free.
Once in a while you can go for  potato, if you are fond of potatoes. Otherwise i would rather suggest you to go for other vegetables, but then peas, beans, corn (lentils) are an obvious no-no!
Chicken, fishes, beef is allowed. But while you eat, please watch what you eat and how much you eat.

You can chalk out a diet for yourself. Just remember to introduce new variations in your diet everyday. So that you dont get bored easily, and go back to the same old weight-gain diet of yourselves. Also you can have a look at different recipes on cabbages, but dont go for too spicy and oily dishes.

Well, it looks somewhat like MAC carbon eyeshadow, except that carbon is not glittery.

MAC IRIDESCENT POWDER REVIEW

MAC IRIDESCENT POWDER comes in two shades - Golden Bronze and Silver Dusk. This is actually a highlighter with mica which gives you a flawless glow. You can use it with a foundation or tinted moisturizer. MAC claims it to be long lasting, and easily blendable, without streak marks or a tendency of caking.

It gives a golden or silver sheen to your face. But remember to use it in a small amount. Otherwise, you may end up looking like a glitter ball. One pack will last for almost a year, if you do not spoil it. Light handedly apply the powder on the cheekbones and may be on the sides of your forehead and chin and on the bridge of the nose. But be very careful, use only a small amount of the powder.

Just swirl your makeup brush over the powder and tap off the excess, and then start dusting it on your face with gentle strokes. The only disadvantage of this product is that this powder is loose powder not pressed, so it will create a mess if not used with proper care. But the best part of mac iridescent powder is that it can be used as a highlighter, eyeshadow pigment, bronzer. So its a 3 in 1 product.

MAC recommends it to be used with a powder brush or blush brush (preferably with MAC 129 brush). Its priced US $ 23 for a 12g or 0.42 oz pack.

E.L.F Beauty Book eyeshadow palette is one of the most inexpensive palette i have ever bought. This is not a new product from E.L.F, but anyways i am damn sure, many of you ladies have not tried it out yet. This palette costs only US $ 5, and you can find it on ELF's own website or amazon or target.com.

I have got only the Neutral Eye edition and Eye Brights Edition. And i simply love it. I mean worth the price! Totally satisfied. But yeah if you want something very pigmented then you may not be liking this much, since these shades are medium, not highly pigmented.

I would recommend you to prime your eyelids well and then apply the eyeshadows to get a more brighter look. You can create any kind of looks with the palettes. The Beauty Book palette contains 12 eyeshadows, a small eyeshadow brush and an eyeliner, with a small mirror inside.

The only negative thing about the Beauty Book is that its colors are highly dupe-able.But i would love to buy the palette again and again, since its so cheap yet the colors are glam!

MAC VIVA GLAM 2 LIPSTICK

 MAC VIVA GLAM 2 LIPSTICK is a nude color, with a touch of peach and beige hues added to it. Its a matte finish lipcolor, with creaminess to it. You need to moisturize your lips first before applying this particular lipstick, since this can make your lips a little dry. This smells like yummy vanilla. But lasts only for a couple of hours.

The best part of this lipcolor, is that it suits both fair as well as darker skin tones. But it is highly dupe-able, peachstock and freckletone are almost of the same shade as that of Viva Glam 2 lipstick. Priced around US $ 15 dollars for 0.10 oz.

I would not recommend you to buy such a dupe-able common lipcolor by paying 15 dollars. But, the packaging is cute and sexy, like a voluptuous woman dressed in black. The outer case is decked with Lady GaGa's autograph on it in red. So if you are looking for some jazzy looking lipsticks, in your vanity, go for it.

   

NYX HD STUDIO FOUNDATION REVIEW

 NYX HD STUDIO FOUNDATION is enriched in minerals and suitable for photo sessions, as claimed by NYX. Its free from talcum powder and paraben. Since this foundation is specialy formulated for photogenic makeup, its SPF free too. This foundation helps you in getting photogenic make up done perfectly. This foundation is said to rejuvenate your skin and also to reduce fine lines and wrinkles on your skin.

It gives you medium coverage. Spreads out evenly and is easy to blend. If you want to get more coverage, just keep applying the foundation more. The foundation is matte. The packaging is fine, comes in a pump bottle.

Since this foundation does not consist any SPF, its great to use for photographic make up. SPF reflects back light since it contains titanium dioxide, so while taking a photo, your face is gonna reflect back all the light, making you look weird and artificial.

It comes in 8 shades - Nude, Soft Beige, Natural, Sand Beige, Medium, Natural Beige, Warm Sand, California Tan. But only one dissapointing fact is that, this foundation does not have any shade suitable for dark skin tone.

There is a slight smell. But one pump of foundation is enough for one time application if you want a medium coverage. It has got a sheer to it. It lasts quite long, almost for 8 hours. Costs US $ 15 for a bottle of 1.26 oz.

Well, i am quite happy with the product. Its pocket friendly and cheap, still its a good product, worth trying! Superb for photogenic make up. I would love to purchase this product again and again.

All the shades are pigmented with nice shimmer in it. Its creamy. And smells like yummy vanilla. These dont smudge and are not the sticky types. When applied on lips, you may feel a slight tingling. Because the plushglasses are lip plumpers.

Each costs around US $ 18.50. But if you are allergic to lip plumpers then these plushglasses are not for you dear! It is more shimmery and less pigmented. So if you want a bright sheen on your lips, go for it. But if you want to add bright colors, i am afraid, then these may not be serving your purpose. Because the colors can be hardly noticed. And contains a good amount of lip plumping ingredients which might cause a burning sensation or some kind of allergy to your lips.

NARS NOUVEAU MONDE EYESHADOW DUO

 NARS Nouveau Monde is a duo eyeshadow palette, consisting of 2 highly pigmented, silky rich colors. One is in lilac color with metallic sheen to it. And the other is in, rich olive green khaki color. Its medium glittery, and you must be cautious of fall-outs. Especially with the lilac one. But then, i absolutely loved both the eyeshadows, the olive one a little more.

It weighs 0.14 oz and costs US $ 32.

You can create smoky eyes with this palette, by putting the lilac shadow all over your lid upto the crease, and then apply the khaki shadow on the crease and blend it well. Use a highlighter on your brow bones and dont forget to line your eyes neatly. You are done!

If you want a more soft warm look, use the colors minimalistically. Apply the lilac on your lid with a light hand. Outline your eyes with the olive color, and you may also smudge it up, if you wish.

The palette is the latest from NARS and a part of their Spring 2011 Collection. Ideal for summery looks. Creates both soft as well as glam doll looks. Go for it.

MAC WONDER WOMAN PENULTIMATE EYE LINER

MAC Wonder Woman Penultimate Eye Liner is a limited edition eye liner pencil. MAC claims this to be a versatile product, and a must have to create the Wonder Woman Diva like look. According to MAC, the tip glides on smoothly and creates fine clear lines as per your looks. From bold to barely-there make up, this liner can help you attain any sort of look easily, in a few seconds.

OUTER PACKAGING OF W.W. PENULTIMATE LINER

I think, it looks more like a marker or jumbo sketch-pen than an eye liner. And its fat shaped body, may be a little tough to hold and outline your eyes for a lot of people out there.  But yes its a felt tip eye liner, and the tip is pretty sharp and thin. The eye liner comes only in black color. Its long lasting, and does not dry out or fade soon. You can wear it as you want, i mean, you can outline thickly or as near to the lashline as possible with this. Though MAC claims, that this penultimate liner, creates dark carbon black lines, but i found it to be rather medium black.

2.5 ml or 0.08 fl oz for US $ 19.50. Well, i think thats not a cheap deal. But anyways, MAC is expensive and we all still buy it. However, i believe one go on well without possessing this liner in her or his make up collection.
