Like they say, Variety is the spice of life. You too follow it, and do a variety of excercises, from weight training to cardio, then jogging to walking slowly.
Weight bearing exercise must be done atleast thrice a week. And cardio must be done for 20 minutes each day. If you are leading a sedentary lifestyle, dont try to bring about a massive change in your lifestyle overnight. Start off slowly and gradually increase the duration of exercise.
If you are suffering from heart ailments, then please consult a doctor, before going for vigorous physical activities. Also if you over 50 years old, consult a physician.
You can turn on the music player or the television, and enjoy the loud music along with exercise. This helps you to avoid getting bored and losing interest. Also you can start by dancing. Dance is also a form of exercise.
If you get tired by doing exercise continuously, then take short breaks in between.
