REVIEW : Lakme Absolute Cheek Chromatic Baked blush

RATING – 9 OUT OF 10

Today I am going to review Lakme Absolute Cheek Chromatic Baked blush. It comes in four shades, 2 for daytime looks and other 2 for night looks. Its shades are – Day Blushes, Day Sheer, Night Sheen, Night Sparkle. All are powder blushes and is baked on terra cotta tiles from Italy. The blushes are enriched with Vitamin E and Jojoba oil. Its free from any fragrance. The blushes can be applied in both ways, either dry for a natural look or wet for long lasting wear.

I got Lakme Absolute Cheek Chromatic Baked blush in Day Sheer. Lakme Absolute Cheek Chromatic Baked blush’s price is INR Rs 550 and is 4g in weight. The pack is circular in shape with a flip lid at top which is transparent. It does not have any mirror or brush in it and is dome shaped. Not fit to take while travelling since the plastic top might crack.

Lakme Absolute Cheek Chromatic Baked blush is soft and not at all creamy. I simply hate creamy blushes, since I have oily skin, I cant stand any creaminess on cheeks. Also the shimmers present in the blush is quite small and is not chunky. Pigmentation of the blush is high, only one swipe is enough for one cheek.

Lakme Absolute Cheek Chromatic Baked blush stays almost for 4 to 5 hours, and the shimmers also last for some hours. I have used the blush dry, with a large blush brush. I particularly avoid applying the blush on the apples of my cheeks, since it would be accentuating my cheeks more instead of contouring. The blush is ideal for a subtle soft look.

Lakme Absolute Cheek Chromatic Baked blush is an absolute wonderful blush! But it’s a hell expensive and might not be travel-friendly.
