I got the L’oreal Paris Youth Code Rejuvenating Anti-Wrinkle Concentrate for my mom a month back. She has got only fine lines and very less wrinkles so i chose for her Youth Code from L’oreal. L’oreal claims that the product delivers smoother rehydrated skin immediately, while after 1 week the wrinkles and fine lines appear to be visibly reduced. And as per L’oreal after using it for 1 month, skin looks more luminous and rejuvenated.
So i just wanted to check out whether L’oreal really lives upto its claims. My mom started using it as soon as she got the product, and within 3 to 4 days i could see the fine lines on her forehead much reduced, while her skin was giving a natural glow. Its recommended to use L’oreal Youth Code Rejuvenating Anti-Wrinkle Concentrate twice daily, after cleansing the face well. The product is non-oily, absorbs into the skin easily. It did not irritate her skin.
The texture of L’oreal Youth Code Rejuvenating Anti-Wrinkle Concentrate is creamier, though its supposed to be in the form of serum. Its white in color and thick. Now after she used this product for a month, she got a few rashes on her chin, i guess the creaminess is to be blamed. It has a mild aroma which is quite nice, and bearable. My mom has combination skin, it felt greasy at times! And now it made her skin to break out, if i would be using it, i bet my face would be flooded with acne the very next day.
L’oreal claims that the texture of L’oreal Youth Code Rejuvenating Anti-Wrinkle Concentrate will give a non-shiny finish, but i could see my mom’s T-Zone shining just after the application of the product, and the shine stays on. Within half an hour or so, the skin gets oily. So obviously if you are oily skinned this product might be secreting more oil.
L’oreal Youth Code Rejuvenating Anti-Wrinkle Concentrate costs INR Rs 1400 for 30 ml. It comes in a matte black colored tube with a nozzle for precise application on the wrinkles. L’oreal says the formula of L’oreal Youth Code is obtained after 10 long years of research, with one obvious result – Pro-Gen Technology (Gene Science).
L’oreal Youth Code Rejuvenating Anti-Wrinkle Concentrate has a long long list of ingredients : Aqua/water, Cyclohexasiloxane, Glycerin, Butyrospremum, Shea Butter/Parkii Butter, Propylene Glycol, Stearic Acid, Stearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Palmitic Acid, Cera Alba, PEG-100 Stearate, Glyceryl Stearate, Pentaerythrityl, Tetraethylhexanoate, PEG-200 Stearate etc
No doubt, L’oreal Youth Code Rejuvenating Anti-Wrinkle Concentrate gives a youthful luminous skin and tauts the skin. A great anti-ageing cream for dry skinned people. But i wish, L’oreal thinks about the greasiness and break out problems, oily skinned people might suffer from, and improves the product accordingly. I wont be buying the same anti-ageing product for my mother, as she is getting break outs.
