Orange or tangarin is very IN this season. Therefore I picked up a new blush from my makeup stash for today’s review, and it is named the MAC Modern Mandarin Blush. It cost US $ 20, having a satiny finish. As described by MAC, this blush is “Red Orange”.
Basically this is a subtle tangerine orange and has a nice soft sheen in it. It has a tint of red, but not a LOT! And basically that’s what makes MAC Modern Mandarin Blush different from an orange blush. Its bright, yet very muted, so be assured to get not just a pop of orange on your cheeks. Something beyond that!

You can build up the color if you so want, it is pigmented! MAC Modern Mandarin Blush is not a frosted blush and has a natural sheen in it, that is really great. I would suggest to apply it with a lighter hand at first and then gradually build up the color as you want. The blush does not highlight the skin flaws, rather adds a glow or luminosity on the face.
MAC Modern Mandarin Blush blends out really well. The blush is soft, and can be used as a springtime blush for the cheeks. If you are a dusky beauty, this MAC blush will be a favourite stuff for you. But even if you are a fair-skinned diva, you can use the blush with a light hand, and you will look beautiful! The blush stays pretty well, though I do not know if this stays upto 8 hours or not, as in genral MAC blushes are supposed to hold up till 8 hours.
