Dandruff in all its forms and colors, are undesirable,
and people want to get rid of it. So, you are going to find some tips which can
help you to keep dandruff at bay. Read on.
Shampoo
daily - Wash hair regularly. Dandruff is not
caused by your hair, but when the scalp sloughs the dead skin cells, dandruff
is caused. So until the flakes subside, try to shampoo your hair everyday with
an anti-dandruff shampoo. But then excessive shampooing will irritate the scalp
and dry it out.

Take
your time for shampooing - You need to spare a
few minutes for your anti-dandruff shampoo to work before you rinse it off. So,
give the shampoo at least 5 minutes to work on the scalp before you wash it
off.
Brushing
the hair - Just after shampooing, brush your hair
properly. Brushing will redistribute oil that is formed in the scalp and the
hair. So, start brushing from the scalp and brush it outwards.
No
stress - Keep your stress aside, as a stressful
life can help in dandruff formation.
Yogurt
Pack - Rub plain yogurt on your hair just after washing
your hair. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes and then rinse it off. After mildly
shampooing your hair, use a mixture of thyme, nettle and 2 tablespoonful of
vinegar on the hair, and wash it off after sometime to get a healthier scalp.
