Indian playmate Sherlyn Chopra is back in India, and has been incessantly raving about her ‘Playboy’ experience with Hugh Hefner and other playmates. Well we don’t blame her. This is the first time the lady is getting so much of importance. Recently in a press meet, Sherlyn aka Mona Chopra was seen in a green net saree which is just horrible and wacky! The draping not done properly also, as you can see. At least i never expected an adult entertainer who gets paid in millions and billions to wear for a formal event. Her unkempt unshaped hair looked more like a mess. While her makeup was all made up (literally)! Oh! Sherlyn, get a makeup artist for yourself now if you wanna continue as a playmate or an adult entertainer.

Stripping now and then what is the starlet aiming at? Well i admit Sherlyn deserves applause for getting a chance to be featured in an adult magazine (without doing nothing)! But then she stood nude and posed, so who said she did nothing?

The plastic made features look odd, and in this picture she bears a resemblance with Koena Mitra. What should we call them? The plastic cousins? Her augmented breasts are not an eye treat seriously.

I am not a fan of the nude pictures of Sherlyn Chopra or the hot pictures of Sherlyn which she tweeted while she was in the Playboy Mansion. But here’s a picture of her wrapped in a silk cloth, she looks quite a stunner. The gal has parts! Remember Hefner is no fool. Now how has Sherlyn impressed the man behind the Playboy? Did Sherlyn sleep with Hugh Hefner as is the unwritten norm of the Playboy team?

Review of Faces Sheer Radiance Liquid Foundation

Faces Sheer Radiance Liquid Foundation is the last thing i got for myself this month. It costs INR Rs 299 for a bottle of 30 ml. The FACES foundation comes in 5 different shades, and i chose for myself Sheer Ivory, which is not a perfect match for my skin tone, is rather white. The foundation shades are – Ivory, Natural, Gold, Beige and Rose.

I need medium to full coverage for my face, and love foundations which deliver a matte effect. The consistency of the foundation is thick and therefore takes a hell of time to be blended into skin. It gives a cakey look and is not long lasting at all. Faces Sheer Radiance Liquid Foundation when applied makes my face look whitey white if not properly blended with time. Though it gives a matte look ( i have oily skin) this clearly wont be suitable for dry skinned gals.

Faces Sheer Radiance Liquid Foundation comes in a glass bottle which is shaped in square shape with a black cap which is also square shaped. You need to shake the bottle well so that the foundation comes out. The opening in the bottle is quite small and narrow! The coverage is not good, not even medium i would say, then it makes my face look chalky and painted! As the texture of the foundation is not smooth or creamy, application and blending of the product is a difficult task. Not going to use the foundation anymore

Review of Ponds White Beauty Spotless Lightening Day Cream

RATING – NULL/NEGATIVE RATING

As I have dark spots on my skin due to acne problems I am always in search of a miracle cream/potion which can help my skin in doing away with those ugly dark spots. So I got this Ponds White Beauty Spotless Lightening Day Cream for myself few days back. It has SPF 20, so you get somewhat protection from the Sun.

Ponds White Beauty Spotless Lightening Day Cream is not a new product but I did not get a chance to experiment with this product before. It costs INR Rs 499 for 50 gms, quite expensive compared to Fair & Lovely. The texture is quite similar to the Fair & Lovely Cream (review here), its thick and if not blended well will cast a white color on the face. After I applied it gave a matte effect. You get an instant brightness to the skin after applying which remains hardly for an hour or two.

If you are dry skinned, please stay far away from this one as this is not moisturising at all. And if you thought being an oily skinned hottie you can buy Ponds White Beauty Spotless Lightening Day Cream with a smile, thinking this review to be a postitive one, let me tell you I was dissapointed after a day or two as my skin gets oily within half an hour after using the cream. Also the cream makes my face greasy within minutes if I go out applying this all over my face.

To brighten the face, I can use a tinted moisturiser, or a foundation or a compact powder. Why do I need this Ponds White Beauty Spotless Lightening Day Cream then? I could find not even a single answer. No this does not fades away dark spots – rubbish claims! Also the greasiness and patchiness is just irritating me.

REVIEW OF MAYBELLINE LIP SMOOTH COLOR BLOOM (Pink Blossom)

I am not much into lip glosses and lip balms but this cutie little pinky pack grabbed my attention and I was captivated so much to buy this lip balm from Maybelline. As the month of July is inching towards its end, I just got 3 more products for myself, this one being one of them (reviews of the other two products coming up next). So I now own the Maybelline Lip Smooth Color Bloom in Pink Blossom shade.

What Maybelline claims about the Maybelline Lip Smooth Color Bloom? : With color sensational Lip Smooth Balm, it’s now easier than you think to get the luscious and healthy lips for that dazzling smile. This Lip balm revitalizes dry and dull lips and gives moisturized shine. It is enriched with vitamin E and Jojoba oil to make lips soft and smooth and SPF 16 to protect the lips against UV rays.

Maybelline Lip Smooth Color Bloom costs INR Rs 99 and weights 1.7 gms. Just like the colossal kajal of Maybelline (read review here) this lip balm too comes in a cardboard packaging which is sturdy and quite handy. The lip balm looks white when we open the cap and after you apply on the lips, it changes from whitish creamy color to pinkish shade which is quite sheer. However the color is buildable and is more or less moisturizing if not so much. If you are having dark lips, the color wont be showing off well, but my lips are not so dark so it appeared pinkish in color.

Maybelline Lip Smooth Color Bloom comes in 2 shades – Pink Blossom and Peach Blossom. The lip balm is more like a lip stain and less like a lipstick. I really like the way this changes it color – its like magic! I have a Gala of London lipstick which also changes color, so this was nothing very new to me, but cool. Its also not very greasy which I definitely like. But this does not moisturise the lips well.

Kya Super Kool Hai Hum - Pictures of Sarah Jane Dias & Neha Sharma

Kya Super Kool Hai Hum starring Tusshar Kapoor, Riteish Deshmukh, Sarah Jane Dias and Neha Sharma released this Friday, and its getting huge box office collections each day and gathering cool reviews of it. So i thought of analysing the style statements of the two divas from the film KSKHH by Ekta Kapoor.

The poster has fused off my mind. Not loving the love handles hanging loose from Neha’s waist. It is a turn-off! While Sarah Jane Dias’s hot body which is craved by many, looks like a stick to me than a woman’s body. Apologies if that has hurt your feelings, but i cant help but express what i truly feel.

This is really a hot one! Sarah looks fab in the one-shouldered yellow dress. Her casual sexy beach look with wavy hair and big eye shades is totally awesome!

Neha Sharma looks cute and pretty in this casual attite with pink top and denim shorts, quite vibrant and funky, with her hair clipped at back and rest left open.

Wow Neha has again amazed me in this sparkling blue off-shoulder dress. Look at her earrings. OMG! So pretty, aint it? Though her golden bangles on the right hand is doing no good, but not an eyesore too! Hair loosely curled at end, making her look sizzling hot!

This has taken my heart away, really! The white thingie on her black her is striking the right note. Also her side ponytail is making Sarah Jane Dias look a beach babe totally. The red printed dress is what i simply love and adore. Its feminine and sweet! The straps are not too thin, just the right! While the front cut is not too low to make it vulgar. Beautiful!

The orangish one piece bikini suit is a gorgeous one, however the stick like figure of Sarah is not doing any justice to the outfit.

The sequinned white off-shoulder dress with curly hair is making Sarah look hotter. Like the look.

REVIEW of Bourjois Paris Healthy Mix Concealer

 Bourjois stuffs are very popular in the blogosphere these days, so i bought a couple of item from Bourjois online. I have already lamented about the Bourjois Mineral Matte Mousse Foundation (review here) now i am going to review about the Bourjois Paris Healthy Mix Concealer.

I am never ever going to be satisfied with the shade choices of Bourjois face products, same with the concealer. Not my match! Anyways Bourjois Paris Healthy Mix Concealer blends in well and does not crease. It conceals the dark circles well. The pack looks like a travel-sized toothpaste, but since the concealer is quite pigmented, its gonna last long, one drop is enough.

Not the best in the market, but more or less a good one. If you are a Bourjois addict, then perhaps Bourjois Paris Healthy Mix Concealer is in your stash already, but me not so pleased with the product. It hides flaws more or less, but does not give the fresh look, i would say. But the concealer is quite moisturising and has a nice smell, but not a “fruity” one ( i mentioned this since Bourjois claims the concealer to be a fruity therapy correcting concealer and you might be expecting some fruity fragrance! ).

REVIEW : Nivea Creme Soft Shower Cream

I am not much into body wash, but since i wanted to blog about most of the things which i can lay my hands on, i got this Nivea Creme Soft Shower Cream. It comes in a bottle of 250 ml and costs INR Rs 179.

Its basically a white colored bottle with flip opening. First thing which i really do not like of this product is that, Nivea Creme Soft Shower Cream is almost without any fragrance. It makes me feel not fresh. When we take a shower and use soaps or body wash, then we expect it to have some nice fragrance so that we can feel fresh, but that is absolutely not the case with this one.

The texture is quite runny, but produces good amount of lather or foam. Now after you use the Nivea Creme Soft Shower Cream, my skin feels slippery as if the body wash is still remaining on my body. I really do not like that feature. I mean if you have used Dove soap you will know what i am trying to tell you.

After usage of the Nivea Creme Soft Shower Cream my skin feels soft but i do not get a glowing skin and all with this shower cream from Nivea. Also if used daily we can see the hair root bumps. The product is quite expensive when compared to other brands’ body wash. Totally unsatisfied with the product.

As all highlighters are supposed to do, this illuminator pen too gives a natural glow and a brighter complexion.

You can mix this Colorbar Radiant Glow face illuminator with foundation and apply all over your face or you can mix this with the concealer and apply on the darker areas to get an instant brightness. The packaging is quite classy with a brush applicator and it looks like a silver colored sleek pen. At the end of the pen you will find a button kind of thing which is to be pressed a couple of times to get some of the illuminator out. You can find only 1 shade “Glamour” of this face illuminator from Colorbar.

And you need only a bit of the product therefore its going to go a long while.

The button system in the pen is quite disgusting, sometimes you need to go on clicking and still the product does not come out, while at times just with one click you will get a huge blob of the illuminator which ends up getting rubbed in the towel. Colorbar Radiant Glow face illuminator quite expensive since its not the kind of highlighters i am comfortable in using, this is just to be used for special night outs when i need an extra dose of shimmer. The highlighter does not disperse an invisible healthy glow, instead it adds a shine, which is okay for nights, but can be obviously pointed out at.

No question of repurchasing, as this is going to last long, and also i am not quite satisfied with the product.

Review of MAC Well Dressed Blush

MAC Well Dressed Blush is a not-so favourite blush of mine. Its a cool tone pink blush, with a poor color-pay off. The color is buildable but not so appropriate for occasions. As an everyday blush where you need only a flush of rosiness on your cheeks this blush is alright. Its a baby pink colored blush.

The pigmentation of MAC Well Dressed Blush is not upto my expectations, moreover the blush is quite shimmery which i don’t like. But the staying power of the blush is quite good, thats the only nice thing of the blush, i suppose. As i told before, Well dressed blush is a cool toned pale pink blush from MAC, therefore it might look a bit ghastly for yellow skinned girls.

Next thing which i would like to note down here is that MAC Well Dressed Blush is sheer, you need to spend a lot of your precious time blending and building up the color – quite disgusting if you don’t have any time to spare! If you are having dark skin tone, then i doubt this MAC Blush would be showing up properly on your skin or not. I bought this from amazon, which took me US $ 21, excluding other charges.

For amateurs in makeup this MAC blush can be a good option since this is a really light bubble gummy pinkish kind of color, which gives just a flush of pinkness to the cheeks without overdoing the blush part. At least you wont be laughed at! So MAC Well Dressed Blush is a safer blush to work with in your intial days of trying to put on makeup properly. If you want to be having almost a natural look, then well dressed will come to your help certainly.

REVIEW : Kryolan Professional Makeup (Kryolan Translucent powder)

I have heard a lot of things (good) about the Kryolan professional makeup stuffs, but never really used it. So i was desperate to try my hands on Kryolan stuffs, and when i saw online a few stuffs of Kryolan, had to buy one. So i got for myself the Kryolan Translucent powder. As i have super oily skin i need powder to set my foundation and keep the makeup on for long hours.

I got the shade TL4 for myself. The Kryolan Translucent powder has got smooth texture and makes my face non-shiny which i really like. Especially when i am taking pictures or doing videos, a non-shiny face is needed. The packaging is quite cumbersome, comes in a grey tub made of plastic, with a second lid full of holes through which the powder comes out. So getting the right quantity is quite a painstaking task. I must add here a little bit of the powder is more than enough, so the powder is really gonna last long.

Kryolan Translucent powder is having very fine particles and gives a matte effect on the skin, and keeps my skin non-oily for an hour minimum. It costs INR Rs 400, but when compared with its quality, the price is very reasonable i would say. Only thing i don’t like is the mess it creates due to its slitted lid, and also availability is another factor. I don’t really know where can i get one in my city! Thank God, got it online.

How has Mallika impressed Antonio? Is it her brown skin or....?

Hey all! So one question which is nowadays frequently asked (indirectly) or just hinted at Mallika Sherawat is that how could she impress Antonio so much that he has almost forgotten his beloved wife Melanie, and dancing to the tunes of Mallika, putting away his marriage ring in a secluded corner of his closet.

Mallika has definitely transformed herself. Earlier she had a strange stiffness in her body language, which is no longer the case. The semi-transparent black dress is a gorgeous pick and the pearl earrings are nothing too fancy, fine to be worn with a gorgeous dress like that she is wearing in the picture. She has not gone for any heavy mask like makeup, though the highlighter beneath her brow-bones could be applied with light hand i feel. Less is more for highlighters!

Okay this desi gal is getting international, we agree. Guess its the Jalebi Bai’s dhamaal which impressed Antonio so much.

Its really a dark black color, i am quite liking the color pay-off. Bourjois Khol & Contour Eyeliner Pencil glides on smoothly. You can not only use it to line the upper lashline, but you can also line the waterline. It did not sting my eyes, so i felt quite comfortable while using it whole day long. When applied on the upper eye lid, it stays intact.

REVIEW : L’oreal Studio Secrets Professional Magic Perfecting Base

I was taking a short break from reviewing stuffs, but here i am back again, with reviews. So today i am going to review L’oreal Studio Secrets Professional Magic Perfecting Base, which i bought recently. This is actually a primer which can be used all over your face. Its smooth and silky, and if you don’t need a lot of coverage, you can wear this alone without foundation.

What i generally do is that, i apply the L’oreal Studio Secrets Professional Magic Perfecting Base first and let it absorb into my skin, then after 2 to 3 minutes i put on my foundation. If you are having dry skin, first go for moisturising your face, and then use this L’oreal primer. I apply this L’oreal makeup base all over my face in dots, and blend everything in upward circular motion. I have not used this during the day time in summer season, so cant tell whether this melts or not.

L’oreal Studio Secrets Professional Magic Perfecting Base is around US $ 10 to 12, i bought this
online, so cant tell the exact price. What i really love about this product is that it blends into the skin pretty well and is having a matte finish. Also it can be used without any foundation, if you don’t need much coverage. And as all makeup bases do, this L’oreal primer helps foundation to stay well and for long hours.

Remember to use a little only, since the consistency of the L’oreal Studio Secrets Professional Magic Perfecting Base is quite thick. A pretty cheap primer when compared to other high-end primers, so that is another plus point of L’oreal Studio Secrets Professional Magic Perfecting Base. This did not break my skin out yet, so no complaints regarding that too!

Well personally I don’t think beating the evergreen divas Ash and Mads is such a petty task. Sarah looks skinny, her sunken cheeks might be in high demand in modelling industry, but not okay for Indian wear. And should we say something about Neha too? Nah leave the girl! But agree it or not, the makeup is too loud!

Wardah Khan, a successful model who is turning into a Bollywood actress by debuting in a film named “Marksheet” which is to be released soon. Now talking of her looks in the particular picture posted above, the sexy black dress is doing no good to her plumpy figure. It would have been great if she had some cover on her middle portion which is a bit large. Guess she needs to lose a bit of weight, and make herself curvy before joining the league of Bolly stars.
