Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm Review

RATING – 8 OUT OF 10

Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm costs US $4 for a pack of 4.4 gm. One may not feel right to wear lipsticks all the time, but a little bit of gloss is always fine! The first thing which i loved about this lippies were the packaging – its brightly colored and so pretty and adorable! The lip balms are of 2 kinds – tinted and not-tinted.

Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm claims : -

1.       Lip balm formulae and hydrates lips for 8 hours to give a visibly renewed lips within 4 weeks.

2.       It has SPF 20.

3.       Clinical caring for baby-soft lips.

It has got 6 varieties namely – Quenched, Peppermint, Pink Punch, Peach Kiss, Cherry Me, Grape Vine. Amongst all the other shades, only the shade Pink Punch is decently pigmented and is a lip tint. It adds a bit of color to the lips and but does not coat the lips with greasy coating. The Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm has a fruity scent in it. It also adds a bit of shininess to the lips.

The lip balm can smoothly glide over the lips. It really moisturises the lips well. Even after i remove the lip balm at the end of the day, my lips feel soft and supple. Its a wearable lip balm and can be worn in day as it contains SPF 20. Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm stays pretty much 3 to 4 hours (without eating and drinking) with just a single application.

Obviously the claim of Maybelline that the Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm stays on for 8 hours is a bit exaggerated; you need to apply it twice or thrice to make it last 8 hours. The lip balm contains shea butter and the consistency is also not very thick or creamy, thats what i love about this. Its not at all expensive, however the lip balm is nothing extraordinary.
