Caitlyn Jenner’s Makeup Breakdown from the Vanity Fair Magazine Photo-Shoot

One of the most talked about cover girls of this year or may be decade is Caitlyn Jenner. She took the big plunge this year when she decided to follow her heart, and be what she always wanted to be. And thus the historic cover of Vanity Fair magazine was created! Caitlyn was photographed by Annie Leibovitz. And the dream beauty team consisting of Oribe, Mark Carassquilo and Deborah Lippmann helped Caitlyn achieve the flawless cover girl look.

Makeup artist Mark Carassquilo aimed at giving Ms Jenner a look of pretty 65 years old lady. In an interview, he listed all the products that he used on Caitlyn for her Vanity Fair Magazine photo-shoot.

Caitlyn Jenner’s Skincare - To begin with, Caitlyn’s skincare routine started with the Bioderma Sensibio H2O which was used to cleanse her face. This product is great for sensitive skin. After that SK-II Facial Treatment Mask was used on her face which was followed by Clarins Lotus Face Treatment Oil. The oil was massaged on her facial skin. For the lips, Lip Balm by La Mer was used.

Caitlyn Jenner’s Makeup - For Caitlyn Jenner’s makeup, makeup expert Carassquilo wanted to give her a semi-matte look without much sheen. Due to her extremely well defined facial feautures, contouring was not required. On her entire face the Tom Ford Traceless Foundation SPF 15 was used, followed by Eve Pearl Salmon Concealer. To fill Caitlyn’s eyebrows, Mark used Estee Lauder Stay-in-place Brow Lift Duo in Soft Brown Shade. After curling the eyelashes, Velour Mink Lashes was used. And that was topped by a few individual eye lashes. Estee Lauder More Than Mascara in Rich Black shade was used on her top and bottom lashes. To define the eyes more, on the top eye lid the Tom Ford Eye Defining Pen was used in the color Black. Eyeshadow was used minimally, Mark used the Medium shade of Sculpting Powder by Kevyn Aucoin. On her cheeks, blush by Serge Lutens in Shade 2 was used, which is a soft peachy color.

For Caitlyn’s lips, just a lip pencil was used mixed with lip balm. It was the Serge Lutens Lip Pencil. Lipstick was not used. Serge Lutens Finishing Powder helped Mark to set Caitlyn’s makeup. This gave her a natural matte look. For another image, Mark used Nars Lipstick in Jungle Red. And gave her rich red pout.

Caitlyn Jenner’s Hair - For Caitlyn Jenner’s hair do, Oribe took inspiration from model Cindy Crawford. Oribe wanted to give her a glam sexy look To create volume the hairstylist used a Dry Texturizing Spray from his own brand. Post that the Signature Royal Blowout Heat Styling Spray on her mane added shine and made her locks soft. And afterwards to maintain her hair and extensions, Oribe gave her the Oribe Masque and Shampoo and Conditioner.

Caitlyn Jenner’s Nails - For Caitlyn Jenner’s nails, Deborah Lippmann did not use any extensions, and gave her nails an almond shape. She first prepared the nails and moisturized them. And then she put on a red nail paint, it was the Lady Is A Tramp shade.
